The Cove Retreat Oceanfront Upstairs Apartment

This unique property is absolute oceanfront. It has the main residence and two private fully self contained apartments. Our friendly managers Jan and Steve live onsite with their little dog Charlie. The upstairs one bedroom apartment has stunnning views with ensuite and spa. Pets are very welcome but we ask that they are not left unattended. We offer doggie sitting at very reasonable rates and provide pet friendly ideas. All our relaxing outside areas overlook the ocean. The space All guests and their pets have full access to the shared outdoor areas. Our guests enjoy the peace and tranquility so please ask permission before inviting visitors over as everyone enjoys their privacy. Entry to the upstairs apartment is via the lounge room which also has a balcony overlooking the courtyard. The room can be closed off making it a separate sleeping area. It has a double day bed, and a lounge. The main bathroom/ laundry is beside the lounge room. There is full kitchen with a dining setting off the hall. At the other end is the spacious main bedroom on the oceanfront. It has stunning views with a queen bed and ensuite and spa. The backyard on the oceanfront is fully fenced. It has a shared entertainment area with a BBQ, lounge and dining setting. There is a relaxing chill out zone and a fire pit for winter. Stairs lead down to an oceanfront deck. Barolin Rocks a renowned Dive site is a three minute walk away and it is possible to snorkel out the front of the house if it is calm. There is a beautiful tidal swimming lagoon just down the road, a convenience store and a cafe and bakery. The bakery is open from 6am to 3pm 6 days a week and closed Sundays. The Mon Repos turtle rookery is a fifteen minute drive away. The night tours to watch the layong and newborn hatchlings is a great experience. There are two golf courses nearby if you are a keen golfer. The Bundy Rum distillery is always interesting or a day trip to beautiful Lady Musgrave or Lady Elliot Island for snorkelling and diving. Whale watching tours are available throughout the whale season. Bundaberg town has many restaurants and shops. Courtesy busses run to the nearby venues. Sandhills sports Club runs Wednesday through to Saturday, Bargara Lakes Tavern Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Elliot Heads Bowls Club has a bus Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Bargara is 10 minutes drive away and has lots of fabulous restaurants and little shops to explore. Guest access Guests have private access up the stairs to the one bedroom apartment. Guests have access to all areas of the property. Other things to note Quiet pets are welcome but please let us know if you are bringing a pet. We just ask that pets are not left unattended. We do offer doggie sitting at very reasonable rates and have a great list of pet friendly ideas.
