Description
The ideal romantic getaway... Set in the Sugarloaf valley, just outside of Dungog NSW, "The Shed" is the perfect place to unwind and soak in the spectacular views of the rolling hills. Cosy up and enjoy a glass of wine by the fire or have a delicious BBQ on your private deck. "The Shed" on Sugarloaf is a self-contained, quiet retreat in the hills. We are located only 8 minutes from historical Dungog and 35 minutes from the southern end of the beautiful Barrington Tops National Park. The space "The Shed" on Sugarloaf offers a unique accommodation experience, a converted shed with all the modern conveniences you could ask for including a slow combustion wood fireplace for those cold nights (wood included) and reverse cycle air conditioning if you prefer. "The Shed' is a bright and airy space with a comfortable queen bed and quality linen throughout. The kitchen and lounge room are spacious and modern and both offer beautiful countryside views from the windows. The private deck also offers magnificent valley views. The horses, grazing cattle and visiting ducks swimming in the dam complete the vista. Please note: The last 2 km of Sugarloaf Road to "The Shed" is unsealed road and while maintained by council and easily passable by 2WD vehicles, care should be taken especially in wet weather and at night. Because of the beautiful rolling hills, phone reception at The Shed can be unreliable. Nothing a short drive down the road or into town can’t fix though! We have also chosen not to provide wifi at The Shed as we really want it to be a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of busy life! Registration Details PID-STRA-17933
