Lalapanzi (Kick back and relax) - Pet Friendly

Located on the most interesting part of the Murray River, Clayton Bay is definitely one of South Australia's best kept secrets and its close proximity to Adelaide makes it an ideal location for a weekend away. Lalapanzi offers ample sleeping options. The main bedroom and the second bedroom has a queen size bed. Both have independent reverse cycle air conditioners. The third bedroom has 2 x King Single beds.. The space The beds are all made with sheets, doona and pillows. Bathroom towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap are provided free of charge for your relaxing stay. Enjoy complimentary Bleasdale wines on arrival. Tea and coffee are also provided free of charge and include a drip filter machine, an electric drip filter coffee pot and POD machine. We supply tea, ground coffee and POD coffee free of charge. The living area has two sofas with TV, Blue ray DVD and a Radio/CD player . There is also a WD box that allows you to watch movies from a hard drive or USB. The dining table seats six people and there are 3 stools around the kitchen bench. There is a reverse cycle heating and cooling system in the main lounge, dining and kitchen area. Two new units have been installed in the 2 back bedrooms. Outside is an undercover area with a pizza oven for those who wish to test their wood oven cooking skills. This can be great fun for the whole family but if you have never used a wood oven before I suggest you do a little research first before using it. Kindling is provided but please bring you own wood. (Hard wood or red gum is recommended) There is also a gas Weber BBQ, outdoor table and chairs and shade umbrellas for the deck. If you have a boat or enjoy water sports then the local boat ramp and jetty are ideal if you want to get out on the water. Goolwa is just 20 minutes away by boat. If you are into bird life or walking then this is an ideal location with wetland board walks and cliff top tracks that weave their way all around Clayton Bay. Fishing is a must off the local jetty while you watch the sunrise or sunset….your choice as both can be spectacular. Pier 28 Cafe is a 5-minute walk away for coffee and takeaway and offers a superb breakfast, lunch and dinner most days. (Check Face book page for details) Lalapanzi is a pet friendly guest house so we encourage you to bring your furry companion with you. The back yard is fully fenced. Only 10 minutes from Clayton Bay is Milang where there is a general store and bakery open 7 days a week and a hotel with good pub meals 7 days a week. Goolwa is 20-25 mins away with the Currency Creek wineries on the way. Langhorne Creek (one of the best wine regions in South Australia) is right on your door step and is well worth a visit. It is about a 25 minute drive with many wineries which serve both fine food and wine. Strathalbyn is 30 mins with many cafes. Guest access A day or so before your arrival date we will text you the 4 digit combination for the key box located on the wall next to the sliding door. Other things to note Please note we do not provide breakfast provisions during your stay. The cleaning fee of $110 includes a pet cleaning fee of $30. If you dont brings pets we will refund the $30.
