Cowslip Cottage is a traditional 19th Century stone property at Botelet Farm. The garden is surrounded by a patchwork of meadows, with far reaching views down the valley towards Fowey and up to the iron age hill fort of Bury Down. The Tamblyn family have farmed, nurtured & styled the farm for 159 years, three generations live here today. Therapeutic massage available in our on-site treatment room. The space Cowslip Cottage has three bedrooms - one double, one twin and one single. The cottage sleeps five plus infant - cot and highchair provided free of charge. The self-catering cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with electric oven, hob dishwasher and large scrubbed pine farmhouse table. A sitting room with comfy sofas and woodburner, bathroom (with shower over bath) laundry room and private garden. Rental costs include green tariff electricity and a basket of logs for the woodburner. Bed linen and towels are provided - please bring beach towels. Cowslip Cottage has wifi internet, freeview TV, DVD player, stereo radio/CD player, books, information and a small selection of DVDs and games. The cottage has evolved from the remains of two cottages, former family workshops and homes of the local blacksmith and carpenter who lived there more than 100 years ago. Guest access Guests have full access to Cowslip Cottage and it's own private garden. Welcome to explore the 300 acres of Botelet Farm - take in a sunset at Bury Down hill fort or picnic in the valley in the wild orchid woodland - maybe just simply wander in the fields and meadows.
