The museum Àrbæjarsafn is close to my home. It is just a walking distance to a great outdoors swimmingpool with hot tubs. A grocery store is almost next door. This area is on your way out of Reykjavik to the south to the Golden Circle etc and also to the main route to the north. I Love this little Cozy studio and I put many of my personal things in there. It is in a quiet suburb and very close to the main roads. It takes you a 5 min walk to find nature and no more houses. Rauðavatn is a small lake almost in the back yard. This neighborhood is on the way out of Reykjavik to the east/south and also to the north/west. No matter if going to Eyjafjallajökull, Golden Circle or Akureyri this will be a good location for the trip The studio/guesthouse is on a private property It is no problem to email, I will help as much as I can. I speak English, Danish and a little German The place is close to a pool and grocery store. It is also close to a skiing area called Bláfjöll 15-20 mín in a car The Bus stop is a few meters from the house The key will be in a lockbox. This studio is suitable for 2 adults, it has 1 queen size bed 160cm x200cm
