A beautiful stylish 15th century south facing stone barn; tastefully refurbished on our organic farm. Quiet, spacious, comfortable & cosy (a wood-burner); bedroom balcony & garden terrace with far reaching views of the Cotswold valleys & village church Our farm was one of Henry VIII hunting lodges, backing onto ancient beech woods, ~ footpaths from the door. Easily accessible to Stroud's famous market, Cheltenham races, Roman villas, village pubs! (2 adults & 2 children under 12 are welcome) The space Woodside Farm is one of Henry VIII's hunting lodges. The Luxury Barn (Old Cow Barn) is entered at split level onto a spiral stone staircase. It has oak and stone floors throughout, and large glazed windows to take in the view. Upstairs is a large bedroom. Two 2 sets French doors open onto a private balcony, over the Painswick valley. Leading from the bedroom is a second smaller bedroom, which contains a bunk bed for to up to 2 young children aged 12 and under. The lower bed is only five foot 5 long and the upper bed whilst 6 foot in length is not suitable for children over 32kg (5 stone). It is not suitable for adults. Leading from the main bedroom is a spacious bathroom, with a cast iron roll top bath. Downstairs is a stone floored (with under floor heating) open plan living room and kitchen. There is a wood burner and complimentary logs. Two sets of French windows open onto a large south facing patio and garden, both with the same fantastic views, and if the time of year is right our own lambs gambling infront of you! The barn has Sonos speaker system so that you can play your own music, radio etc from your chosen device throughout the house. There are a selection of board games, DVD player and numerous DVDs, and a smart TV. Guest access Guests of course have full access to the entire barn. There is a private raised garden immediately in front of the barn for the exclusive use of guests. The bedroom has a large private balcony, overlooking the Painswick valley towards Stroud. There is ample private parking space next to the barn and secure lock up facilities in the outbuildings for bikes etc.
