Cottage in Newton

This beautifully presented and fully refurbished holiday cottage was originally built in 1892 and is situated on the edge of a quiet wooded area above Underhill park. It is a 5 minute walk from the beaches of Rotherslade and Langland and a 10 minute walk to Oystermouth castle and the village of mumbles. It has private parking for 2 vehicles in a double car port. Parking is also available at the roadside above the cottage. Nearby activities: watersports, surfing, fishing, golf, walking. The space The cottage has 3 double bedrooms (one of which has ensuite shower and sink); a bathroom downstairs and upstairs and a small utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Downstairs is open plan consisting of a kitchen area and 2 lounge areas with oak beams spanning the ceilings. Both lounges have large wall-mounted televisions with Sky Q multi-room available. The cottage has WiFi (the fast version) and is ideal for those visitors who need to work from home if they so wish - peace, comfort, fast WiFi, table etc. The property ideally suits a family of 4 but the 3 double bedrooms are all large enough for 3 couples to stay. There is enough room to fit a travel cot in all 3 bedrooms (Travel cot, mattress and sheet available in cottage if requested). There is a King size bed in the main bedroom; a double bed and a single bed in bedroom 2; and a double bed in bedroom 3. Therefore, enough room for 7 people to sleep. The back garden is a peaceful space consisting of a patio area, a decking area, a private parking area and a small area covered in bark and astro turf. Birds can be heard singing from sunrise to sunset in this idilic location. High touch surfaces such as light switches, door handles etc are now cleaned with anti bacterial wipes between guests to help create an environment which is as clean and safe as possible. All linens are laundered and surfaces cleaned with anti bacterial cleaning products. In the interest of safety, all towels, games and reading books etc have been removed from the cottage.
