It's a lockable, private and large room that has a comfortable Queen bed. This apartment has a shared kitchen, and backyard access with laundry facilities on site. Live like a local in an authentic Brooklyn within a modern & updated apartment with all the comforts of home. 3 minute walk to JMZ Myrtle Ave subway station. Cleaner provided twice a week for general tidiness, though house rules are that all guests must clean up after themselves for harmonious use of the space :) The space Welcome to Brooklyn! We have a lovely and private bedroom in the first floor of a recently renovated townhouse. You will have access to a full bathroom and living room with couch on your floor, wifi throughout, and use of the stainless steel kitchen upstairs. There is also a hot and cold filtered water dispenser in the kitchen. We also have a gorgeous adopted male cat from Puerto Rico that lives with us! The bed is a memory foam Queen bed; super comfortable! The room also contains a dresser, lamp, desk and chair, and plenty of closet space. The house is located a 3 minute walk to the Myrtle Ave stop on the J/M lines which will whisk you to Manhattan in 3 stops. It gets great sunlight and on the ground floor with a view of our backyard (feel free to hang out there if you like!). Nearby are many shops, delis, restaurants, and transportation. It is a very hot, up-and-coming area of Brooklyn, so more artsy and creative types are moving in everyday. This apartment has been renovated from top to bottom. I am always available to help; currently my brother and a few full time roommates live there. They are all in our 20s to early 30s and the home is quiet and clean. My calendar is always up-to-date. The other bedrooms are taken by my brother and the rest are rented out to international young professionals and students, some here for several months at a time. They are all very respectful and quiet people. We have a lovely backyard space with lots of seating and string lights. There's also a washer and dryer in the basement (app operated). We have a cleaner come 2x per week to clean the common areas (kitchen, bathrooms, and living room) to ensure a clean space. However, we do ask everyone to clean up after themselves and leave the space as they found it, as it is a shared space. Free washer in our basement, and on the back of the basement there is a app-operated dryer. During your stay I live with my fiance elsewhere but my brother lives in the apartment for any help you may need. Other things to note House rules: - No shoe wearing indoors please - Quiet hours between 1030pm - 6am - All houseguests must clean up their own messes and dishes - #1 rule: don't be a jerk :)
