Our family home, a former farmhouse dating from 1896, welcomes you to the heart of the Millevaches Plateau, in the peaceful hamlet of Neuvialle. Restored with passion, it offers a welcoming setting where old-world charm blends with the comfort of a contemporary home. Right from the doorstep, set off on foot along the paths that crisscross the coniferous forests and heather moors... Here, time slows down: Enjoy a relaxing stay in a quiet setting surrounded by nature. The space Restored for our own vacations, we have preserved its old-world character: exposed stone, hardwood floors, period furniture, wood-burning stove, etc., while adding all modern comforts: central heating, hotel-quality bedding. You will have a large common room: a dining area with a farmhouse table and a living room. On the 1st floor, there is a bedroom equipped with a 160 cm bed. A "dormitory" with 2 160 cm beds. 1 bathroom. In the attic, 2 charming bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and a shared bathroom. The beds are ready for sleeping upon your arrival, and 1 bath towel is provided per person. Here, we step into the past. Discover magical and untamed landscapes, numerous small streams, an old chapel and its Stations of the Cross lost in the middle of the woods... Whether you put on your shoes for a few minutes or several hours, there is always something to marvel at in nature. Lake Vassivière, its beaches, canoe trips, its treetop adventure course and many other activities are a 20-minute drive from the house. Guest access We provide you with the lower part of the large room adjacent to the main house, free of charge. Private storage area. If you use it, you must leave it tidy and clean.
