Esthers Honeymoon: Room with a view

Esther's Guesthouse is located in an old Swiss wooden chalet in the quiet and car-free mountain village of Gimmelwald. It is one of the last car-free villages in the Alps and impresses with beautiful and natural landscapes. The guesthouse is located just 150 meters from the Gimmelwald cable car station. The space The family-run guesthouse offers 7 different rooms (from single rooms to 6-bed rooms) and 2 apartments. Our vacation home has the perfect infrastructure for a relaxing vacation in the mountains. The cozy and well-furnished double room with mountain views has a double bed (1.8 x 2.0 m), a single bed (0.9 m) and a sofa bed (0.9 x 2.0 m) and can accommodate a maximum of four guests. The room has its own bathroom. Guest access The entire infrastructure of the guest house is at your disposal: a well-equipped communal kitchen, various tables in the communal area, a coffee maker and a selection of teas as well as an information corner. In summer, you will find seating on our sun terrace and in the garden. Why not enjoy a nice barbecue in our garden? You are welcome to use our gas grill. We also sell local ice cream and a selection of cold drinks as well as a kiosk shop with the most necessary goods, so you can still cook a plate of spaghetti if you arrive late. In winter, you can use our ski room with boot warmers to store your skis, boards and sleds and to dry your winter clothes. On request, we offer you a nice breakfast with local products. You can put together your own breakfast. We will prepare it and provide it to you. So you can enjoy your breakfast not only in our house, but outside in the garden or maybe even on a bench in nature. We bake bread, croissants and rolls and prepare packed lunches for you. You will find several restaurants (one in Gimmelwald, others in Mürren), farm shops in the village and various shops up in Mürren. We will also do the laundry for you. During your stay We are a family with two small children and live in the same house. Franziska grew up in this village. We love our life here in this peaceful place, and are happy to be there for questions and tips.
