Hidden oasis 4 min from Jemaa el Fna square
Description
"Dar Nossa" is an authentic Riad carefully restored, combining Moroccan traditions and contemporary touches. Nestled in a peaceful alley a stone's throw from Jemaa el Fna square, it offers the rare luxury of calm in the heart of the medina. Every detail has been carefully thought out, and we welcome our guests as we like to be welcomed: with warmth, simplicity and sincerity. Here, the experience is intimate, authentic and memorable. Welcome home to DAR NOSSA! The space DAR NOSSA has 6 bedrooms, including 1 junior suite, each with private bathroom and toilet, as well as a patio-living room and terrace where you can relax, unwind, and have your meals or snacks at any time. It is possible to add 2 "umbrella" baby beds (to be discussed upon request). The Riad has been renovated in accordance with the traditions and architecture of the Medina of Marrakesh. Its furnishings and decor are from local craftsmen, its linens and towels from the hotel industry. Guest access For insurance reasons, the kitchen and laundry room are not accessible (reserved for house staff). On-site meals and laundry services are available (extra charge). Other things to note DAR NOSSA is committed to the planet by applying an Environmental Protection Policy. Air conditioning is therefore subject to a surcharge (€3/night/room); the objective is to get each of our guests to think about their real need to air-condition the air, and encourage them to reduce their ecological footprint. NOTA BENE: The money collected is entirely intended for the construction of wells for the population of BENIN who still do not have access to a local water source (Banikoara/Founougo district/villages of Bakorou, Gouyanwin, Kpako Winyangou, Bagawoni, Sonboan Ankoumou, Magourou). Project information and terms upon request. Each contributor is invited to leave us their email address in order to be kept informed of the project's progress (by the Dar Nossa team, and for nothing other than this project!). And since every euro counts, and "small streams make big rivers", we also add 100% of the price of each Moroccan coffee or tea ordered outside of breakfast (€2/person). You too can adopt simple daily actions that are beneficial for the environment but also for you, your future and that of your children: - do not let the taps run unnecessarily (toothbrushing, showers, dishes, etc.); - turn off unnecessary electrical appliances (lamps, chargers, standby appliances, etc.); - reduce your use of heating or air conditioning (first adapt your clothing or bed linen); - invest in more sober and ecological equipment (when the ones you already have are out of order, of course!); - sort your waste as much as possible (and above all do not throw anything in the toilet); - think before you buy (do you really need this thing you want?); -... Any other ideas? Go for it!
