Whether you are traveling here from around the globe or an SF local looking for a new neighborhood this property meets all of your needs! My moms roots began here as she was raised by her Grandmother & Father in this house. This house has been in the family from the 1920s when the houses and neighborhood was developed. This is a family style home plenty of room for adults and kids, there are endless activities and cool things to see and eat. We welcome you home for exploration and relaxation! The space In the heart of San Francisco, there is a historical landmark neighborhood called St. Mary’s Park. This park offers lawns, a basketball court, picnic area, a large playground and a recreation center with programs for all ages. It is minutes from Dolores Park, Valencia Street, the Mission District, AT&T Park (home of the San Francisco Giants Baseball Team) and the Castro Neighborhood. Also nearby are famous and iconic San Francisco visiting spots such as Fisherman’s Wharf, Coit Tower in North Beach, San Francisco Zoo and many shopping options. There are many multi-cultural restaurants on Mission and Valencia Streets, as well as many bars and live entertainment all around the area. If an ocean view is your desire there is the Cliff House or Beach Chalet at Ocean Beach. Of course there is also the Embarcadero, Ghirardelli Square and Fisherman’s Wharf to see the Bay. Our property is close in proximity to highways 1, 80, 101, 280, 580 and 680 which is convenient should your adventures take you north to the Golden Gate Bridge toward Sausalito, Muir Woods, Marin and Sonoma/Napa Wine Country or south to Silicon Valley or Santa Cruz and also east to the Bay Bridge toward Oakland and Berkeley. Our home décor is Art Deco with French doors and hardwood flooring but is very cozy with beautiful views through our bay windows in the living room. This house has been in our family from the very beginning. Our Great Grandmother purchased this home brand new in the 1920s when the St. Mary’s Park neighborhood was born. This property is truly from our family to yours! There are 2 bedrooms (1 queen; 1 double twin). Additional couch to sleep on in living room and also a fold out full size futon sleeper (blankets and pillows provided for all sleeping accommodations). House can sleep 6 people. Our bathroom has been completely renovated inspired by the Art Deco era with tub and shower and double vanity. Towels are provided for guests, we have also included individual wrapped mini soap bars for each guest and a pre-packaged travel vanity set which includes Q-tips, nail file and cotton pads. The formal dining room seats 6. Full kitchen with breakfast nook seating for 4 ( which also can be converted into a 3rd beedroom if needed) and a additional table in kitchen seating for 4. Kitchen equipped with small appliances (i.e.coffeemaker, toaster, microwave, blender). Dinnerware and cookware are provided. Stainless steel gas stove and refrigerator. No dishwasher provided. There is a working laundry room including washer and dryer along with an iron and iron board if needed. Fireplace is not operational. TV and Wireless provided. Guest access Guests have access to the upstairs living space only, which includes: Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, Breakfast Room, Laundry Room, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. We also have 2 hallway closets that can be used to store clothing and travel equipment. Guests will also have access to the backyard. No garage access; however if you have a car you can park in the driveway or street parking is available, which is not residential permit parking. Guests will have access to free Wi-fi throughout the house and complimentary Infinity TV in the Living Room Is there a space we woild ve able to store our Kayaks/bikes? For kayaks and bikes there is plenty of stored space in the house. We can talk about arranging to have access to the garage where they can be stored if needed. In addition, there is a full backyard. Other things to note 1. For emergency use there is a landline telephone. 2. Iron and Iron Board provided 3. SF Muni & BART available a couple blocks from the house 4. St. Mary’s Park is located in the Bernal Heights neighborhood centrally located to many other iconic neighborhoods such as Mission District, Castro District, Glen Park and Dolores Park. 5. House Rules include: No smoking, not suitable for pets, no burning candles, no parties or events, must climb stairs to get to property and not handicap accessible. 6.
