Glassnakille Wigwams

*Important - please read* For the real Skye experience off the beaten track, stay in a Wigwam (basic wooden tent with 2 single mattresses on the floor). Bring your own bedding, towels, pillows, sleeping bags etc. Includes heating,lighting, toaster & kettle. No cooking facilities Private water supply which is filtered and UV system. This is a very remote and beautiful part of the Island. 17 miles of single track road from Broadford, approximately 45 minutes drive from Broadford. The space The wigwam has two mattresses on the floor,heating and lighting,toaster and kettle. GUESTS are to bring their own sleeping bags, pillows, towels, everything as if camping. There are no cooking facilities. I describe the small wigwam as a posh wooden basic tent. The wigwam door is small, 4ft x2ft. Guest access Guests have access to the wigwam,shared bathroom and garden area. There is a picnic table for guests to sit at and enjoy the magnificent scenery. Dogs are welcome, dogs are to be on a lead at all times. During your stay I am home most evenings after 6pm. Other things to note I describe the Wigwam as like a wooden tent,very basic,take everything with you as if camping(sleeping bags,pillows,towels,crockery,cutlery etc). The wigwam sleeps two persons only. The wigwam door is small, 4ft x 2ft. There is no wifi at the wigwams,sometimes people pick up a mobile phone signal depending what network they are on. I live in a very remote beautiful part of the island. The 17 mile drive on a single track road can feel very long if the weather is bad but on a gorgeous day,it is a wonderful scenic drive.
