Idyllic country house in the vineyard

Bright sunny house with lots of windows and beautiful views. Natural wood floors and shielded cables ensure a healthy living feeling, the furnishings in the country house style without kitsch for a pleasant atmosphere. The house is surrounded by gravel terraces and a large garden and fruit trees, vineyards and has different outdoor seating also with distant views. The space The house can accommodate 4 people. One bedroom is in the attic, which is reached via a small staircase. The 2nd bedroom is a walk-through room to this staircase. In the living room, there is also a sofa bed for 2 people. However, an occupancy of the house with 6 people is not possible. (The total living space is 80 square meters) The house contains everything you need for a pleasant life. It is located in the Moselle-Eifel region and is an attractive starting point for beautiful bike tours (e.g. Moselle-Maare bike path) and hiking tours (e.g. Lieserpfad) in the immediate vicinity. Eifel and Moselle are very varied landscapes. Attractive cities such as Trier and Luxembourg can be reached in 1/2 hour or 1 hour by car. The center of Wittlich is a 25-minute walk away. In the beautiful city center there are several cafes and restaurants as well as an organic shop (Biogate) among other things with good vegetables as well as several butchers, bakeries and bookstores and some chic clothing stores. Large shopping centers are on the outskirts and can also be easily reached by bike. Here, the Edeka market on Friedrichsstraße is particularly noteworthy for its wide selection, its own organic section and a very good selection of everything, including regional wines, fresh fish, etc. There you get everything you need in good quality. Aldi, Lidl, Netto etc. and another Edeka market are also easily accessible. In the wider area, there are good products directly from the producers/farmers: strawberries, asparagus, vegetables, goat cheese, potatoes, meat and much more, also in organic quality. Near the house are a swimming pool, tennis courts and wonderful nature. The magnificent maars of the Volcanic Eifel can be reached in half an hour by car, and in 1.5 hours by bike. In Wittlich there are 4 wineries with good wines (unfortunately our own winery near the center is no longer in operation (there is also an apartment there see "Living in the monument with Garden Paradise“). Only a small area with Riesling vines around the vineyard house is cultivated by myself and a winemaker friend). In the center there is a wine bar where you can taste the best wines of the Moselle. On Tuesdays and Fridays in the morning there is a weekly market with regional products. The house is the starting point for beautiful hikes or bike rides to the Eifel and the Moselle and is close to the Moselle-Maare bike path (15 minutes by bike) and is within walking distance of the beautiful Lieser path in the Eifel. Just 10 minutes away is the Mosel Höhenweg (by car), for example at the Ürzig location. You can drive to Bernkastel-Kues in 20 minutes by car, which can also be reached by bike in an hour. Trier can also be reached by bike, by car or by train from Wittlich-Wengerohr station, which takes 30-40 minutes. Guest access The house and a large garden Other things to note Since 2025, there has been a guest card in Wittlich and a guest fee of €1.50 per guest per day. Children are exempt from this until the age of 18. To issue the guest card, determine the fees due and fill out the registration form, the names of all persons and their age must be given. The address at which the main tenant is registered is required. For guests from abroad, the number of the identity card of the main tenant should be indicated.
