Enjoy the scenic views of the rolling hills and dairy cows surrounding our home. There is a separate entry to the entire lower level of our home. We do live upstairs and you may occasionally see us in passing! Pets allowed on property if left OUTSIDE in kennels only (we live near the Kennel Club Field Grounds). Pets allowed if traveling for Kennel Club Events (or similar) and if the pets are kept outside in kennels. We live upstairs, you have access to the entire basement of our home. Our home has a unique history- it was originally built by my great-grandparents in 1980 and we are located across from our family’s dairy farm. The bedroom available to you was originally created for individuals who came from Japan for the experience as an intern on the farm. We are excited to offer our home as we are located centrally to many surrounding hot areas! PGA Tour guests, Elkhart Lake visitors, Road America race enthusiasts, Horse-A-Rama exhibitors, EAA viewers, Packer fans, Camp Sinawa visitors, Autumn Ridge league golfers, Door County seekers, and Lake Michigan visitors would find our location especially convenient. There are nearby cross country ski, snowshoe, and snowmobile trails as well. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS. We have one bedroom total! It has a queen and double size bed. For parties of 5-6 a queen size air mattress with a memory foam pad will be set up in the living room for you. For parties of 7- One person would get to chill on the couch! We will consider parties over 7 on a case by case basis- please message us for details. All beds are covered with a waterproof bedbug protector. On top of this is a mattress pad for extra comfort. Pillows are also covered with waterproof bedbug protectors. Pack and play available as well. Large closet for your items to be hung with hangers supplied. The door to the bedroom can be locked. Laundry room with detergent available. Full kitchen equipped with stove/oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, and sink. The cabinets are fully equipped with kitchenware, pizza pan, pizza cutter, cutlery, plates/dishes, and silverware. Coffee maker and coffee ready to be used. We have a crock pot and George Foreman you can use too. You are responsible for providing your groceries and meals. Our nearest grocery store is about a 10/15 minute drive. We have coffee on hand though! Full bathroom with large tile walk-in shower. Hair and body wash available. Towels, washcloths, hair dryer, and extra toilet paper supplied. Treadmill available. Bringing children/toddler/babies? We have lots of toys as well as a Pack and play and baby seats available. Rainy day or spending a night indoors? Board games available- try our favorite: Life on the Farm. Roku available but will require your log in for any Netflix/Hulu use. Our lower level is technically not air conditioned (our upper level is) but is always cool during the summer months. Plenty of fans also available for cooling or even just for white noise! Watch the sunset on our backyard patio. Kids can burn out energy on the playset. The pasture with dairy cows from our family’s farm is located in our backyard- enjoy watching the cows come up to the fence to visit. Bonfire pit available with plenty of wood to use. My husband and I live upstairs on the main floor with our son and dogs. We will give you your privacy! We are fully licensed and ready to host you. What this means is we completed the inspection process of our home to host you according to Wisconsin’s legal guidelines. We have our smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarms up to code and placed appropriately. We have a fire extinguisher as well. Our exit routes/points of egress are also up to code in the event it is needed. Our water passed inspection but we do have bottled water for you to use if you would like. ☺️ You can check yourself in with the keyless entry. You may see us occasionally in passing otherwise we plan to fully give you your privacy! Located in the countryside near Valders. Just minutes away from Autumn Ridge Golf Course and Pigeon Lake. A few minute drive from our locally produced cheese and ice cream shop. Guests must have a vehicle- public transport is not available in the area and Uber/Lyft are unlikely to drive to this location. My family and I live on the main level. The only area accessible to you that we also use is the garage (your private separate entry enters the garage where the entry to the basement is located). We do have a security camera in our garage to allow us to ensure the safety of our items here. My husband and I are high school sweethearts. We love kayaking, going for walks through the beautiful countryside surrounding us, and introducing new things to our kiddos.
