Beggars Barn is a beautiful country house set in 3.5 acres. The Main House has 6 bedrooms; Master suite, Family suite, 1 ensuite, family bathroom, 3 doubles, 2 cloakrooms. Huge luxury kitchen/dining area & Snug. Villeroy & Boch cutlery/glassware etc. 18m long outdoor heated pool (Apr-Oct), outdoor living sofa suites, dining table, BBQs, paella dish. For a supplement: Hot tub (£160), Arctic Cabin BBQ, larges Games/Cinema room (£200 - 2 nights). The space Beggars Barn is set in a valley just outside the village of Shutford, is a beautifully renovated country residence set in 3.5 acres of land, The main house consists of a very large kitchen with fitted Smallbone kitchen, with large dining area leading to a snug. All the crockery and glassware is Villeroy & Boch or Wedgewood. The Main House has 6 bedrooms including a luxury master bedroom with ensuite, family suite, a further ensuite and 3 further double bedroom including one downstairs opening out onto the garden. 5 bedrooms have zip and link beds so can be super-king beds. Prices quoted are for a minimum number of guests (6)and there is a supplement per person thereafter. There is a stylish drawing room with large open fire place with interconnecting doors opening into the dining room with a table that seats up to 16, within the dining room is a music area with Yamaha piano. The main living area of the house has marble tiled flooring throughout and a sound system. The bedrooms include two master suites with Super King size beds (most zip and link), dressing areas and bathrooms, there are 2 double rooms with Super King or twin beds by the family bathroom, a Super King or twin beds in the downstairs bedroom, and another ensuite double bedroom with Super King or twin beds in the main house. (Rented separately and not included in this quote, you can also hire use of the Summer House (self contained with 2 bedrooms sleeping 4+2) and/or The Stables Annexe (self contained with 2 ensuite bedrooms sleeping 4-8 with use of the sofa beds) which also has a large games/cinema room). By arrangement and for a supplement you may have use of the large outdoor heated pool (May- September) hot tub, and gym. The gym has a 3 in 1 cross trainer, rower, vibration plate and weights. Facilities are on a first come first served basis. The outdoor living space has huge sofa suites, large fire pit which is also a wood BBQ, gas fired BBQ plate, 1m round paella dish (gas), large sun umbrellas, and outdoor dining table and chairs and sun loungers. Guest access The main house, exclusive use of the pool, and if requested the hot tub (for a supplement). The outdoor living space is plentiful and the gardens ideal for outdoor games. Other things to note The hot tub is available all year around and there is a deep cleaning charge of £110. There is also a supplement of £30 if the outside gas BBQ is used.
