Your holiday home altitude 543 is located at the edge of the Hohes Venn. The name says it all, because the house is located at 543 m above sea level. Imagine entering a place of peace and balance. Nothing distracts from relaxation and your own thoughts, nothing disturbs the view. A place for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility. An ideal starting point for numerous beautiful hikes and bike rides on the nearby Vennbahn cycle path. Discover cities with a primeval character. The space Comfortably equipped for up to 4 people (children from 13 years) on several living levels, your vacation home offers two bedrooms, a high-quality and well-equipped high-gloss kitchen with 4 gas hobs and adjoining dining area as well as a living room with reading chair and fireplace for cozy hours in the evening. We provide wood (€15/basket). Throughout the house, underfloor heating ensures consistent warmth and a pleasant indoor climate. Nothing is as relaxing as letting your thoughts wander and savoring the moment of rest, for example with a cup of tea or coffee, brewed by hand... Upon arrival, your beds will of course be made. Hand and bath towels, bathrobes and a hairdryer are ready for you. In winter, start from the house with skis or snowshoes into the forest and in the evening ski back to the front door. Then relax in the warmth of our natural wood-heated outdoor sauna (€36). A special kind of experience. Please notify the sauna one day before use. The double beds (200 × 200) consist of two single beds and can be set up separately. Please notify us before arrival. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. The downstairs bathroom features a corner bathtub in addition to the rain shower. There is also a guest toilet on the first floor. Guest access The vacation home, garden and lawn are available to our guests for their own use. Please don't be surprised if you also get animal visitors. Even our proud rooster with his small flock of hens will be happy to welcome you. But only in the garden! Other things to note Especially in today's fast-paced world, we want to offer the opportunity to escape the constraints of the digital world. This has led us to deliberately refrain from installing WiFi (not fast here in the village anyway) and TV. Embrace this tranquil experience and make your stay at altitude 543 an unforgettable and relaxing one. However, if you are dependent on WiFi, we will gladly provide this, but we would like to point out that we do not have stable Internet here in our small town. Our vacation home is a non-smoking house. We ask that you do not enter our vacation home with outdoor shoes and require respectful use of equipment and furniture, as well as parquet flooring. We also separate garbage - into glass, paper, green dot and residual waste. A compost pile is available for green waste. ... and if you have laundry that needs to be washed, we offer our private laundry service. In neighboring Kalterherberg, on the German side, you will find the Moss bakery and the Stolle fresh market, where you can shop to your heart's content and even taste wine. In Sourbrodt, here in Belgium, it is definitely worth shopping at the butcher's shop Schneider. Please pay the tourist tax of 1.50 euros/guest/night in cash upon departure so that it can be forwarded to the municipal administration.
