Description

Our family built this house in 1971 in the beautiful, quiet Dollar Point neighborhood. It is a very well-maintained home that has a renovated kitchen and upper level bathroom. This is a quiet, residential area that will make you feel like you're at home. Yet you are minutes from town, ski & board mountains, trails, water, golf, shopping and more. The house is built on a hill so you will always have a view of beautiful Lake Tahoe. Not to mention great sledding in the winter. We are partial to 'Old Tahoe' ways and enjoy restaurants that have endured the times like Jake's on the Lake. There is a reservoir across North Lake Drive about a 1-mile walk from the house. This recreation area meets up with the Tahoe Rim Trail for endless hours of biking and hiking. If you're into geocaching, there are some fun caches there - including ours called 'Dogpatch'. Paved bike path by Dollar Point entrance that is easy ride to town, along West Shore, or to Olympic Valley. Keywords: spacious, comfortable, public beach, hiking, and biking. 15 minutes from most ski hills. 3 miles to town.
