The space Cambray Cottages is less than 3 hours drive south of Perth and is part of the Margaret River region. Your hosts, The Wilde Family, invite you to visit Cambray Cottages and enjoy a taste of a true working farm. Cambray Cottages were built to embrace and enhance the beautiful countryside at Jarrah-Lea Springs. From the jarrah floors to the charming French doors, the cottages ooze that special country feeling. Reverse cycle air-conditioning will ensure a perfect night’s sleep during our hot summer months and if you’re feeling a little chilly in winter, there’s always the electric blanket to keep you toasty warm. Each cottage has full kitchen facilities plus a Weber BBQ on the verandah, complimentary tea and coffee, and laundry facilities on request. Guests receive a delicious Cambray Cheese platter on arrival. A shared fire pit can also be found behind the cottages, which can be used during the winter months. A starter kit can be found at your cottage, which includes firelighters and kindling - you will then find wood next to the fire pit. You're welcome to collect any extra wood from behind the fire pit in the bush area. Wifi available and full coverage if you are with Telstra. We also have our farm shop and factory on site, where are award winning cheeses are produced. Stop by during your stay and experience a cheese tasting. Guest access You will have access to both cottages, making it the perfect getaway for a large family or group. You're welcome to explore our 160 acres of farmland during your stay. Depending on the time of year and activity on our working farm, some paddocks may be out of bounds. Just touch base with us if you're unsure and we can point you in the right direction. You can walk through the paddocks and say hello to the animals, just please ensure you close the gates behind you. We may even be able to give you some food to feed the animals, so if you see us out and about please ask as we'd be happy to assist you. You may also walk through the orchard, stop by the shop first and ask what fruit is in season and you can pick a selection for your stay. As it is a working farm and sheep dairy, there is always something to see or do on the farm. Other things to note Unfortunately pets are not permitted on our farm, as it is a biosecurity hazard on our working farm. Please be mindful that this is a working farm, and there are also hazards on the property such as dams and electric fences - please supervise children at all times. When driving through the property, please limit speed to walking speed. As it is a shared property with families and livestock. If you want to experience some of the working farm life, let us know and we would be happy to show you around. Registration Details Exempt
