Whare Rakau - Kereru Room

Kia Ora, Our home Whare Rakau (tree house) is surrounded by beautiful rainforest and native trees. Just a 7minute walk or short drive to the bars, restaurants, the hot pools and the glacier building. Enjoy the beautiful sound of birds and the rain on the roof. On a clear night you can enjoy beautiful dark skies full of stars. We can help with information and bookings on the walks and attractions in Franz Josef. The space The Kereru room is a Queen room with an en-suite bathroom. We welcome guests to use all parts of our house, we have a shared kitchen, lounge and our side covered seating area. Guest access We have guitars if you would like to play them. Other things to note Our house isn't on maps currently so can be a little difficult to find, We are at the far end of Cron street, straight past the hot pools, then past the medical centre until you see our red Maori Pau (red carving) then turn right up our drive.
