Castle Close, Black and White cottage B&B.

Black and white cottage nearby is the Wye Valley, the Black mountains and Hay on Wye. I provide bed and breakfast in this peaceful part of Herefordshire. Waffles with bacon and maple syrup make a good breakfast. The village has a shop, post office, hairdresser and a pub. The village has a number of timber framed black and white houses - the black and white trail. The space A very peaceful area. My home is part of a converted tithe barn. The timber frame is 1530 , the beams are like concrete - I do know that as I have scraped most of them. This barn conversion was the first in Herefordshire and the house is spacious and is the bathroom. Castle Close is Grade 11 listed Guest access There are two National Trust properties and several delightful and interesting Churches. Offa's Dyke and Brecon beacons are nearby. Herefordshire is Border Country and has a wealth of history. During your stay I am ace at responding to questions and requests. I do enjoy talking about the surrounding area and its past. Other things to note I do always ask guests to bring slippers but I do provide disposable ones when necessary.
