Luxury with a difference. Galvin's B&B is located centrally in quiet, leafy Edge Hill just ten minutes from the airport and ten minutes from downtown Cairns. Galvin's B&B is one of the most central B&B's in Cairns. The house is one of Cairns' finest examples of Queensland style architecture, built in the 1930s. We live upstairs. The B&B is the whole lower level with separate entrance at the front and opening onto a tropical garden and pool at the back. The space Relax in your own private two-bedroom apartment. We only accept one booking at a time so you are guaranteed the whole place to yourselves - no need to share. Luxurious, tastefully decorated and self contained, the apartment has a private entrance & patio; two bedrooms (Queen and twin); an indoor and outdoor bathroom; lounge room with TV (Chromecast available), free wireless broadband internet access & an extensive library; and sunny breakfast room opening onto a large, natural rock swimming pool, surrounded by lush tropical gardens, lovingly tended. Whether single, double, family or two groups traveling together, you’ll love the perfect setup, the convenience and you’ll be spoiled with our special blend of hospitality and privacy. Free laundry facilities, equipment for day trips (cooler, beach towels, bird books) and luggage storage for those heading off on further adventures are available to all guests. During your stay Before your arrival or during your stay we will happily arrange any tours and provide recommendations for what to do in the area. We have traveled extensively in the region with and without children. Most of the tours have courtesy buses that will pick you up either at our front door or in Edge Hill (2 minutes walk).
