Be it Official trip or Family vacations or Medical or Religious tour or a Small Halt to meet Family and Friends in Kolkata, the house provides all facilities for comfortable long and short stays. 2 Mins walking to Birati station, it connects Dum Dum Metro & Sealdah in 10-20 mins by Train. Kalyani & Belgharia Expressway is 5 mins drive. The space The property is 1000 sq ft spacious private area, big enough to accommodate a family of 4 person without feeling any kind of suffocation. You have a Private entry & a Separate floor in the house to access with other benefits like Smart TV, AC, Fridge, Grill Oven ( OTG ), Toaster, Induction Oven, Pressure Cooker, Handheld Grinder, 20L Packaged Drinking Water, Iron, Iron Table, 24*7 Hi-Speed Internet WiFi access and many more; which would keep you fresh, stay connected to the world and also try out your culinary skills like baking and much more with local grocery items. Location: Situated in Birati ( North Dum Dum Municipal Area - North Kolkata ) nearly at the midst of Kolkata Airport and Ganga River ( Dakshineswar Ghat ), the Airport is only 4 Kms from Home. It takes only 10 mins to reach Airport at the morning or midnight when there is no traffic. The house enjoys a great position who wants to explore and travel Kolkata at a pocket friendly price. The home is just beside ( 2 mins walking ) Birati Railway Station. The Local train network is fast and robust connecting you directly to places like Kolkata Station, Princep Ghat, Eden Gardens, Ballygunge, Barabazar, Sealdah, Dum Dum Station / Dum Dum Metro ( nearest metro ), Madhyamgram, Barasat at Rs. 5 only. The main road is 3 mins walking from home. Walking to the main road ( Underneath the Birati Flyover ) you get Autorickshaw to Belgharia station ( 10-15 mins by Autorickshaw from Birati ) where you can get direct local trains to Barrackpore, Naihati, Krishnanagar and Ranaghat. From Belgharia station you have direct autorickshaws to Dakshineswar Kali Temple. Once at Dakshineswar you could easily travel to Swami Vivekanand's Ashram Belur Math ( By Car it takes 20-25 minutes to reach Dakshineswar temple from home ). From Birati station, autorickshaws are also available directly to 'Airport 2 no. Gate' and 'Birati More' from where you will get intracity buses, intercity buses and buses across broder to Bangladesh. Intracity buses connects directly to Howrah, Dharmtalla, Babughat, BBD Bagh, Garihat, Garia, Newtown, Salt Lake, Nagerbazar, VIP Road, Ultadanga, BBD Bagh etc. For intercity travel your could get direct Buses from 'Birati More' to Siliguri or Digha and to Bardhaman from 'Airport 2 no. gate.' Some bus services starts directly from Birati like 1) Birati Mini bus which goes to BBD bagh 2) Bus no. 237 which goes to Babughat Bus Stand. Prominent Expressways like Belgharia and Kalyani Expressway is only 5 mins drive from home. Totos, normal Rickshaw are always available from home. From the main road you may avail rickshaw directly to home. The way to home from the main road is through bustling Birati Sinchan Market ( 3 mins walking from home ). We share 3 video routes to our Guests to choose the best route to travel. Being near the Airport the Radio cab / scooter services are 24 hours available, to and from your Airbnb home. Surroundings : Super Market like 'Smart Bazar' ( 5 mins walk ) and More ( branded retail store ) is very near to the home hence you can shop all you need while you are on a travelling sphere. The General grocery and sabji mandi / fish & chicken market is only 3 mins walking from home, with few grocery shops to buy milk, daal, rice are just beside the home. Famous Bakeries like Mio Amore, Dough As You Like ( Also a good coffee shop ), Monginis are all at walking distance. You may hire a rickshaw also if not comfortable walking. You will find many sweets shops around here but Mangala Sweets and Parijat are our favourites and you may consider buying some sweets for your friends and family back home. Food joints like KFC, Dominos, Cafe Coffee Day, Mitra Cafe, Chowman, Wow Momos are all nearby home. You may take autorickshaws from Birati railway station ( 2 mins walk ) and reach all these famous food joint in 2-5 mins. If you want to dance and booze, Pubs like 'Desi Lane' is very near the home ( 10 mins drive ). Sher-e-Punjab, Bhajohari Ranna, Michael Nagar Dhaba, D Bapi Biryani are some of the good restaurants nearby. You could also enjoy foods from the nearby restaurants through food delivery apps like Zomato and Swiggy. You may order alcohol from Swiggy as well. For Groceries you could order from Blinkit app. We have endless list of surrounding tips and lots to share when you book with us. In all if you want to eat like a Bengali, live like a Bengali and see Kolkata like a Bengali in a local way, this is the best place for you and your family to experience from my home sweet home. Guest access The guests has the access to enjoy their Space wholly. The space is not shared and is wholly for the guests for their personal use. The space is located at the ground floor, you are provided with your own personal gates for entry and exit to the home at any time. Personal lock and keys shall also be provided. Other things to note -- Check-in time is 11 a.m and Check-out time is 10 a.m -- Early check in and late check out is chargeable and subject to availability. -- We provide Pickup and Drop service from Kolkata Airport ( Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport) to home at considerable charges. -- There is Car facility available at your Airbnb home, if you plan to visit places in Kolkata for sight seeing or work; contact and share the plan. This service is provided for minimal charges. -- The Kitchen is fully equipped with Induction oven and fridge. -- We provide good quality delicious Home Cooked Foods for our guests. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner are provided at reasonable rates. Kindly Intimate us 2 hours before, for Lunch and Dinner as per fixed items ( veg / non veg ) on the menu card. -- One extra person of the same group ( that is a group of four) can be accommodated at an extra charge of Rs.500 with other conditions remaining same. -- Laundry services on priority basis can be outsourced for Guest. -- Use the AC remote to switch off the AC. Do not use the main switch to switch it off directly. -- Do not keep the windows or doors open while the AC is switched on; it puts pressure on the condensor and leads to malfunction. -- Do not Eat or Smoke on the Bed. -- Do not paste any Hologram Stickers of Liquor bottels or Packaged Food items on any object in the room. If found penalty will be charged. -- Do no put any hot objects directly on the table or any furnitures. -- Make sure no colour items / ink or substance alike fall on any furniture / table / bed sheets / sofa covers. Any stain found is subjected to penalty. -- Bed sheets , Towels will be replaced after three nights stay. --Everyday every aspect of the room to be properly kept in order by the guest on their own. -- Uber / Ola / Indrive Taxi or scooter Services are 24 hours available, to and from your Airbnb home. -- Scooty or Bike rentals contact details can be shared on request. -- Guests are required to dump the garbage in the dustbin before leaving the space. This includes Ciggarate Buds & ashes, bottles, disposable glass & plates, boxes, chips bag, food wastes etc. If guest require any extra dustbin bags, please fell free to ask for it. All good relationships are built on trust, clear communication and to be there for each other. As guest sets high expectations from us, we put in all our sincere efforts to accomodate them and their request with love and care, but we also have few expectations from our guest. We wish our guests to have understanding of Bread and Breakfast concept of Airbnb rooms, and to have a clear thought in mind that they aren't booking for a Hotel room for this property, with hotel par services and amenities. I am a retired bank manager and love investing my time on people. I have seen some ages hence guests are expected to co-operate accordingly, and make both of our experience to be flourishing and beautiful.
