“Tarn Croft” Luxurious Sleep 6 Lake District house

Located on the fringes of the Lake District. Tarn Croft is a stunning 3 double bedroom, 3 storey property, near Marton village. With modern and luxurious specification throughout, including a fabulous Basement Family room with a large fully equipped kitchen, (with Private Chef option) leading to a lovely back garden, with Hot Tub, dining, and a seating area. It’s 3 large double bedrooms, (Master with king size bed +En Suite, ) 1 double, and 1 twin room. Stunning bathroom, lounge, and piano room The space Hi The house is surrounded by beautiful tarns, reservoirs, and a multitude of public footpaths and lanes nearby, perfect for people who enjoy walking, and cycling! There is a large privately owned tarn, stocked with coarse fish, directly opposite Tarn Croft, whereupon the land owner has kindly consented to it being fished by guests on request. (Please enquire for more details?) The House is beautifully equipped throughout, with 3 large double bedrooms, (Master with en suite bathroom and king size bed.) The 2nd double bedroom is also on the 3rd floor, both offering stunning countryside and Morecambe bay sea views from the rear elevation. All bedrooms offer large wardrobes and chests of drawers for all your storage needs. The 3rd twin bedroom on the ground floor is furnished with 2 single beds, or the option to be joined to make a Super king sized bed! All bedrooms have TV’s with Firesticks. A stunning family bathroom next to the twin room, is beautifully appointed, with fully tiled walls and flooring in sumptuous slate grey. a large freestanding bath, powerful rainfall shower, WC, large vanity unit in grey, and large chrome radiator. There is also a large triple aspect lounge, on this level, with solid oak flooring, an oak fireplace, with an electric pebble fire. This room boasts 2 large 4 seater leather sofas, a leather recliner chair, Smart tv with Sky Q tv, and surround sound system, board games to keep yourselves amused, and a quality acoustic guitar for you to play! There is also a cosy piano/study room overlooking the rear garden on this floor. Here you’ll find the boiler, and heating controls, plus there’s an upright piano, PC, and shelving with books and a plethora of Lake District attractions brochures for you to peruse! (Don’t forget to leave a few words in the guest book here!) The large basement family room boasts a wonderful fully equipped kitchen, dining, and sitting area, with a huge wall hung 65” Panasonic Smart TV with Sky Q and a sound bar. The kitchen area boasts masses of cupboard space, with a large fridge freezer, double oven, large induction hob, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, wine cooler, and a full complement of crockery, glassware, cutlery, and kitchen appliances. Patio doors lead out to the fully enclosed veranda and rear garden, where you’ll find plenty of seating, and a dining area. The 4-6 seater hot tub with LED mood lighting is nicely elevated on decking, with a large overhanging canopy of a tree providing shelter and privacy over it. There’s also a gas bbq, (please observe notes before use) and a large water feature in the garden! To the front of the house there is a lovely decked seating area with drinks table. A real sun trap area to enjoy the evening sun! For those wanting an extra special stay to remember, my friend Matt, a talented local head chef, offers a private dining experience not to be missed! First of all, it’s brimming with natural beauty, with rugged mountains giving way to smooth expanses of tranquil water. But it’s also a place full of romance which has inspired writers and artists for centuries. Tucked among the fells are villages where the pace of life is slower and pretty cottages sit harmoniously in the landscape. Be sure to explore this amazing part of the world during your visit! Guest access Guests have full use of the property, including the rear garden, with use of the Hot Tub, and gas BBQ. PLEASE NOTE. Tarn Croft is unsuitable for charging Electric Vehicles. Other things to note 1 dog is welcome to stay, at a fee of £20 per stay. There is free parking to the front of the house. However, could I kindly ask that UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES can the gated lane to the left of my property be used for parking vehicles. This is a private access lane to a neighbouring property, and must be kept clear of any vehicles, or obstructions at all times. If there are multiple cars arriving in your party, there are plenty of parking spaces further down the hill. Please do not park opposite the neighbouring properties, or on the grass verge to the right. Essentials such as bedding, toilet roll, and a fully equipped kitchen are provided, however, for hygiene reasons, and to minimise the risk of Covid contamination, guests are required to bring there own towels with them please. TOWELS ARE NOT PROVIDED. There is a washing machine with washing pods, and a tumble dryer, washing line, clothes airer outside, iron, and ironing boards provided, should you wish to launder your towels and clothing during your stay.
