Two apartments are located on the ground floor and open onto a spacious wooden terrace overlooking the ocean, perfect for outdoor dining or relaxing in the evening light. You will be staying in the larger ground-floor apartment, which features a fully equipped kitchen with a stove and microwave, as well as a bathroom with a shower, a freestanding bathtub, and a washing machine. The space is designed for comfort and independence, making it ideal for longer stays or guests who enjoy self-catering. The main room includes a comfortable bed, a sofa. In the kitchen you find a table with two chairs for enjoying breakfast indoors. If you prefer to sit outside, the terrace offers a bench and an outdoor table with two chairs, where you can enjoy the view and the fresh sea breeze. The property also offers access to a small shared cuddle pool — perfect for cooling off while taking in the stunning panoramic scenery. Guest access Our home is located just above Hangberg, the colourful fishing community of Hout Bay. To reach the property, you drive through this vibrant neighbourhood where many local fishermen and their families live. From there, the road turns up the hill past the sports field and leads you into peaceful, scenic Hout Bay Heights. Hangberg is a modest but lively part of Hout Bay’s culture, and it reflects the real spirit of Cape Town — a mix of people, histories and traditions that make this area so unique.
