Description
Fieldstone house is a 100 year old homestead built from local stones off the property. The house is the location for the film "The more things change". Surrounded by rolling hills dotted with cows and abutting state park. The Baw Baw ranges cap off this tranquil vista. Serenity and privacy are in abundance. Adults only accommodation. Price shown is for two adults, please check the cost for extra people. NB: No Under 25's. No schoolies groups. No Pets. The space The house is rustic and full of character. Modern facilities for your comfort include kitchen,(no dishwasher) dining facilities, bbq and outdoor settings. There are 4 bedrooms; 2 bedrooms with queen size beds and 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds each (total 8), and one bathroom. There are electric blankets and heaters in each bedroom to keep you toasty. 3 fireplaces with firewood supplied. 2 living areas, with pianola, hifi, books, dvds, cds, magazines. Have a hit of tennis or laze by the pool whilst taking in the mountain views, Heated spa available. Please note that pool and spa area is shut down during winter period. Go for a walk on the surrounding property and explore the forests, creeks and dams. You will be greeted by a symphony of birdsongs in the mornings from rosellas, black parrots, cockatoos, king parrots and blue wrens. Other wildlife on the property include sambar deer, lyrebirds, wedge tail eagles and wombats. Only 1.5 hours from Melbourne, this is a great place to escape and unwind. Immerse yourself in nature or sample the wares of the surrounding towns of Noojee and Neerim south.
