Kaithara Heritage Homestay is a 160 year old heritage home , with the antique and royal ambiance of Portuguese era. It is perched on the historical coastline of Kannur with a five minutes walk to the beach and St. Angelo Fort build by the Portuguese in 1498 AD. The posh Kannur Cantonment Area is surrounded by beautiful beaches and evergreen parks which gives it a natural feel. Railway station, Bus station and the local city markets are under 2 km from the home. Kannur International Airport (CNN) is 30 km away. During your stay Since it is our ancestral home and I stay here it is my bounden duty to welcome our guests personally. I see myself as a people person and would love to socialize to give the guests a totally endearing experience of our culture and cuisine. Other things to note Breakfast, lunch, dinner and traditional cuisine and choices of the guests will be available but not included. Guests can have their own market experience for purchasing vegetables, fish and meat which is available in the market close by. They can prepare anything in a fully equipped kitchen. Even bake your own pizzas and cakes under the expert guidance of the host. Nominal facility fees for use of kitchen are applicable according to use. Laundry (washing only) service is also available at a nominal fee.
