The apartment is on the third floor, with elevator, of a noble Palace from the early seventeenth century, Palazzo Spadafora, Principles of Maletto, and it is located in the heart of the historic center of Palermo. The building was partially destroyed during WWII and has been recently restored to its former glory. The apartment is suitable for 4 ppl with a bedroom, a sofa bed, a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and two balconies overlooking via Maletto and the basilica of San Francesco. The space From the main door of the Palace you can reach the apartment via staircase or more easily with an elevator accessible from the courtyard. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen in an open space living room with a dining table for 4 people and a sofa. From the living room with internal wooden and steel stair, you can reach a cozy mezzanine with a space to relax, watch TV or read quietly, feel free to pick one book from the bookcrossing library. In the mezzanine, you can also find the queen size sofa bed for 2 guests. From the living room, you get access also to a newly renovated bathroom with a shower. The most spectacular room of the house is the master room. A big and bright bedroom with wooden floor, a king size bed and a large closet. It has a high decorated ceiling from the early twentieth century (showcasing the Liberty of Palermo). The apartment has also 2 balconies where you can enjoy the view of Maletto street and San Francesco Basilica (from this gougers church I took the inspiration for the name of my space Foresteria Francescana). On a sunny day, it’s perfect just to sit outside on the balcony and enjoy a coffee, breakfast or a glass of wine.
