The Octagon, Wooden Cabin in Private Woodland

The Octagon is set in 2.2 acres of beautiful private woodland. It is visually secluded, and all yours for your group to explore and enjoy. The land is surrounded by open fields and farm tracks yet you are 15 mins walk from all town centre amenities. Great for families and friends.Please note there are 7 beds in the octagon sleeping 10. A caravan is available for £100 sleeping 4. Please note we are not a "party" house and expect our guests to respect the space. Hot tub/sauna are £220. The space The Octagon is a single level chalet built by myself with 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. There are two bedrooms with king size beds and a bunk room which sleep 4 in two bunk beds. There is also a sofa bed which is a double bed in the main space. It sleeps 10 in total in 7 beds, one a sofabed.A caravan sleeping 4 in two doubles can be hired as an extra. There is plenty of room for socialising in the main space and plenty of outdoor space with several seating areas including an undercover area. We have a wood fired hot tub and sauna available as extra at £220 for the stay( the hot tub water is generally good for 2 days depending on how often you use it, it is still ok when cloudy as we provide oxygen tablets but not recommended for 3 days. Not recommended for pregnant ladies or people with heart problems. All children must be supervised ). We do not have a tv or WiFi but 4g signal is good and there is a bluetooth stereo. There is one bathroom in the octagon with a shower and toilet and there is a composting toilet in a separate outbuilding and a cold outdoor shower. This is a place to relax with nature and enjoy some peace with friends and family. Perfect retreat space. We are also on the bus route to Manchester- bus stop a 5 min walk. £3 each way- last bus 12pm Fri and Sat from Manchester. We also have a train station in town. Why not book a yoga or sound session with Dani. As we are in nature and surrounded by trees and fields there will be the occasional bug, spider, rabbit and sometimes deer, there are also nettles. No dogs unless they are small, well behaved and you clean up after them. Guest access Guests are welcome to explore the whole 2 acres at leisure. Everything is accessible apart from a tool shed which will be locked. Please note we do not accept extra guests on site without prior permission .
