Riversong Cottage Romantic stay - Talybont village

Welcome to my beloved little cottage; the home of my heart. Located in the heart of a vibrant village with three outstanding pubs, village shop, cafe & post office, this is walkers heaven country. The Brecon-Monmouth canal snakes through the village. Explore nature, waterfalls and mountain peaks from the front door, or curl up with a good book next to the log fire and listen to the tranquil river as it passes the front of the cottage. Brecon 6 miles, Crickhowell 8 miles, Hay-on-Wye 25 mins The space Traditional 200 year old stone built shepherds cottage with cosy wood burner, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, small fridge, cooker, oven and microwave. The bathroom is located on the ground floor and has underfloor heating, heated towel rail, bath with electric shower. Ancient squeaky stairs lead to the first floor, comfortable main bedroom with double bed and views over the garden and hills beyond. A small second bedroom has an antique brass single bed. There is a small cottage garden with an apple tree and outdoor setting. Guest access During your stay the cottage is yours to enjoy. The cottage is best suited to couples or solo adventurers. The second single bedroom has a beautiful antique brass single bed and can be used for an additional child, or another adult but it is "cosy". Stay a little longer: More and more guests are opting for early check in or late checkouts to make the most of their stay. Let us know if you’d like to stay a little longer, and we’ll let you know if it’s possible. Special arrangements: We are happy to make special arrangements for Champagne to meet you on arrival, flowers to mark a special occasion, chocolates or breakfast hampers.
