Description
The Cottage (note that while we call this a “cottage,” it is a private, single family home): Charming 1940's wine country cottage, with many original features including hardwood floors throughout (except bathroom), original cabinets, and decorative scalloped crown moulding. The vintage "shell" is complemented with a professional Viking Dual-Fuel Stove, and modern and mid-century modern furniture. Bonus: authentic 80's Galaga Arcade game w/Pacman (+ other games) in garage free for guest's use. The space The cottage has two bedrooms and one bathroom, though the second bedroom is set-up as an office (note for long-term stays, the couch and desk in the office could be changed-out for a queen bed -- ask for details if interested). It does have a pull-out couch that might be used for a quick visit, but the office is not appropriate for long-term sleeping purposes as it is currently set up. King Bed in main bedroom. Note that there is a modern looking window air conditioning unit available for use during the warmer months (it is located in the living/dining room area). Guest access The Cottage is a private, single family home. Guest has exclusive access to all living spaces (with the exception of the closet in the 2BR/Office, which is locked off for Owner's use) and front and back yards (including the hot tub). Also, Owner's newer 16 foot Airstream is stored in the driveway, but there is always parking right in front of the house, and plenty of neighborhood parking for guests. Owner has some personal items stored in the garage (including 4 bikes and a treadmill) that are not for guest use. Other things to note Owner will pay power and gas up to $100 per month (said another way, tenant pays any power and gas costs over $100 per month). Owner pays for all other utilities and landscaping,
