Howdy! Welcome to the Cowtown Cottage, a relaxing and rejuvenating spot moments from all of Fort Worth’s attractions and experiences. Our Cottage has been a top booked property on AirBNB for 5+ years, and we have hosted awesome guests. We would love to host you! The space There are few experiences quite like a visit to Fort Worth as the variety of things to do greatly exceed the Fort Worth Stockyards, sporting and concert events at the world class stadiums or family fun at amusement and nearby waterparks. We want our guests to enjoy their getaway in Cowtown with all of the independence that comes from staying in a vacation home, but with the design touches of a boutique hotel. Fort Worth has the world's best combination of a small town feel in a larger city, museums and attractions, incredible food, beer, and wine, and of course BBQ. When you book, we will have great recommendations for you of places to eat and things to do. With welcome treats when you arrive and a coffee bar in the cottage, you'll have plenty of fuel for your adventures. We have put extra care into creating the most vibrant experience for your visit, with areas to relax or play games with family and friends both indoors and outdoors. Stay moments away from Fort Worth attractions and a quick Uber ride to the Fort Worth Stockyards or downtown. We have the best cottage in the city with a location and Superhosts that can't be beat! #cowtowncottagefw PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: - You must be at least 28 years of age to book property. Proof of age will be required upon request. - If you are looking for a place to party, this isn't it. Heavy drinking, loud parties, and additional people not originally registered are not acceptable. Only 8 guests can be on the property at any point, regardless if they are staying in the home or visiting. - There are only 4 parking spots for vehicles at the property. Please do not book if there will be more than 4 vehicles at the house. If more than 4 vehicles are found to be at the property, we will immediately cancel the reservation without refund. - We do not host guests that are attending music festivals in the area. Please do not attempt to book. - Guest must be fully clothed when at using the exterior of the property. This includes coming and going to and from the property. This is a family neighborhood, and neighbors do not tolerate half- clothed people entering or leaving the residence. If this is noticed, you will be asked to leave immediately, and your reservation will be terminated. - Pets must be approved by hosts and added to the AirBNB reservation prior to arrival. If approved, the pet fee is $150, and must be paid prior to arrival via the AirBNB system. Guest access During your stay, you will have access to the entire cottage and it's amenities: fully stocked kitchen, living spaces, three sleeping areas, bathroom, washer/dryer, and yard areas complete with BBQ grill for outdoor living. Additionally, the home is also protected with a full security system that you will have control of while in the home. Please note that we do not provide charcoal for the BBQ grill in the backyard. Additionally, there is a supply building on the property in the back yard that the owners access regularly for items. Please note the fireplace in the living room is ornamental, and fires cannot be burned in the fireplace. The home does have Central A/C and Heating. Other things to note We happily welcome people of all races, religions, sexual orientations, and ethnic groups. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: LIMITED PARKING IS AVAILABLE: The home has parking for 4 cars. 2 cars can be parked in the driveway, and 2 cars on the street directly in front of the home. Additional parking is NOT available in front of other people's homes on the street or in the yard of the cottage. If more than 4 cars are found to be associated with the property in the driveway and on the street, the reservation will end immediately. MAXIMUM NUMBER OF 8 GUESTS AT PROPERTY AT ANY POINT IN TIME. PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 28 YEARS OLD TO RENT THE PROPERTY DUE TO PREVIOUS INCIDENTS. If you are below the age requirement, and are traveling for work, please send a message to discuss individual situations. NO CONCERT OR MUSIC FESTIVAL GUESTS. NO PARTIES OR SPECIAL EVENTS. NO PARTIES Parties are not allowed in the Cottage, and there is a maximum of 8 people allowed on the property at any given point in time. We welcome groups for things like Girls weekends, Bachelorette Parties and Wedding Prep Days where drinking is not the main function at the event, however, please contact the host to get prior approval. We strictly enforce this rule, and the neighbors are quick to contact law enforcement. Fine for violation up to $250, plus $20/guest fine, and fines for any additional damages. SMOKING Smoking is only allowed outside of the home on the patio. $500 USD fine if guests are found to be smoking in the cottage. NEIGHBORS/ QUIET HOURS This is a quiet neighborhood community. Please respect this by keeping the music, etc. quiet after 9 PM and generally be respectful to the neighbors. We strictly enforce this rule, and the neighbors are quick to contact law enforcement. Fine for violation up to $250, plus $20/guest fine, and fines for any additional damages. TOILET The plumbing in the cottage is older, similiar to the age of the home. ABSOLUTELY NO FEMININE PRODUCTS OR ANYTHING BESIDES BASIC TOILET PAPER ARE TO BE FLUSHED AT ANYTIME, NO EXCEPTIONS. This could destroy the sewage system. They are very expensive, and guests may be charged up to $1000USD if the sewage system backs up and items other than toilet paper are found in the drains. Thank you! PETS Pets are only considered on a case by case basis, and an additional fee applies for the length of stay per pet. Additional fees may be accessed based on condition of home upon check-out from both a cleaning and/or damage standpoint. Guests will be asked to remit fee for pet's stay prior to receiving the access codes to the house. Pets are not allowed on the furniture or any bedding at any time. Pets must also be crated or left in the backyard when guest is not in the home. YOUNG CHILDREN We enjoy welcoming and having children in the home, but ask that liquids with staining qualities on the carpets not be used in the home, including but not limited to grape juices, kool-aids, etc. Please note that the home is NOT child-proofed. BBQ Grill Please note that we do not provide charcoal for the BBQ Grill. FIREPLACE Please note that the fireplace in the living room is ornamental, and cannot burns fires. Central Heating is available through the home.
