Our "Positive Place," as we call it, is filled with great welcoming energy and nestled in nature in a safe neighborhood close to everything in Gainesville. We are minutes from Lake Lanier, North East Georgia Medical Center, restaurants, shopping, prestigious local schools, and the downtown square. Also, 23 miles from the Mall of Georgia & 57 to Atlanta. If you're here visiting family, doing a school visit, attending an event, on a business trip, or vacationing, you'll enjoy our positive space. The space This basement apartment has a large living room, which looks out onto the deck, kitchenette with small appliances and small refrigerator, eating area, queen bed in bedroom, full bath with tub. You can enjoy sitting on the deck sipping the coffee or tea provided. Enjoy a walk on the back trail under the trees. Guest access Nice family of adults live upstairs and your apartment is secluded and has its own entrance for your privacy. Feel free to play music and watch television without concern. There is a floor between your space and their bedrooms. Enjoy your deck and the back area, which is very peaceful and calming. Other things to note The thermostat is for the apartment only and will not affect residents upstairs, so adjust accordingly (although we try to conserve energy when possible). During the Winter: If electricity goes out there is a battery back up near the door to keep your phone/computer charged. You can move it, and please put it back there for next guest. There are also flashlights and candles throughout the space. The electric company texts us about outages and we'll let you know too. They are pretty fast at resolving issues.
