Ramblers Cottage is a beautiful stone cottage, built in 2009 and refurbished in March 2022. Set on a small estate on the edge of Powburn village, Ramblers Cottage is ideally located between Wooler (9 miles) the gateway to The Cheviots, with it's many cafes, bistro pubs, shops and restaraunts and the historic market town of Alnwick (10 mile ) with it's majestic castle ( Harry Potter ), splendid gardens and cobbled streets. An ideal base to discover the Northumberland National Park and Coastline. Other things to note Due to Covid-19 we are currently undertaking extra cleaning and sanitizing at the property. We will continue to supply bedding to all beds requested, but we now kindly request guests to strip the beds of all bedding at the end of their stay, and place into Wash Bags provided. We will continue to supply hand towels to all bathrooms as well as t.towels. To comply with our Fire Risk Assessment, no bbqs are allowed at the property.
