The Gîte Le Sancy is in a farmhouse of 1870, renovated in 2017, including two cottages, the Borie Basse. The farmhouse is located in the middle of the wide open spaces of Cézallier, between Puy de Dôme and Cantal. On site large plot with stream, pond, hikes, mountain bike. Spa towns, cheese roads, charming villages, castles, lake circuits, horse riding ...nearby. The medieval city of Besse Saint Anastaise and the ski resort of Super Besse are 15 minutes away. The space The cottage comprises on the ground floor a large room with kitchen, dishwasher, dining area, lounge area (with a sofa bed), TV, a bathroom, washing machine, separate toilet. Upstairs a bedroom with 2 beds of 80*200. The cottage has a terrace with table, sun loungers and views of the Sancy. Rates include EDF, a kitchen kit (salt/pepper/sponge/dishwasher/tea towel), linens and towels. A touristic tax of 0.65 euros per adult per day will be collected at the time of arrival. Additional charges are applied if the cottage is left in poor condition. Guest access Independent parking is located right next to the cottage. In winter the roads remain accessible during snowy weather with snowploughs that pass regularly. Other things to note The gite is located at the exit of the village, with a magnificent view of the mountains and the Sancy. A large field allows to sled, hikes start from the cottage, snowshoes possible on site and downhill/cross-country skiing possible at 15/20 mn road to Besse Saint Anastaise or Chastreix, small family resort. Ideal location for mountain biking.
