Wake Up to the River– Peaceful Luxury in Amsterdam

Step into a private sanctuary in the heart of Amsterdam. This spacious, light-filled room features a luxurious king-sized bed, sofa bed, private shower room, and access to a peaceful garden — just steps from the River Amstel, the historic canal belt, and the vibrant De Pijp neighborhood. Whether you're strolling the canals, exploring cafés, or working remotely, this is the perfect base. Guests love the tranquility, premium bedding, and unbeatable location that blends calm with convenience. The space Our private king-sized bedroom is a spacious, elegant retreat with high ceilings, period features, and views of the River Amstel. Located on the ground floor, it’s the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring the city. You’ll have sole use of your bedroom, a private shower room just across the hall, and a private separate small toilet which is along the corridor. There is a sofa bed in the room in case of a third guest, and the possibility of a travel cot for an infant. Note that there is no additional room for a 3rd guest, they will stay with you in your bedroom. Please note also that this is a historic property - we work with the space we have. The bedroom is a large room, whilst the shower room and toilet room are compact. You're welcome to use the shared kitchen, living/dining area, and the peaceful terrace. These common areas are shared with me and my two friendly flatmates. Guest access You’ll have full private access to your bedroom, your own shower room just across the hall, and a separate small toilet. You're also welcome to make use of the shared kitchen, living/dining area all in the same floor, and the garden terrace. We have a second floor downstairs which is only accessible for myself and my flatmates. This contains our bedrooms, a family bathroom and laundry room. We ask Airbnb guests to respect our privacy. During your stay I live in the house with my lovely flatmate Martina, a fashion student from Italy and we share the kitchen, living room, and terrace with you. I’m always available via a text message or in person for local tips, questions, or just a friendly hello :) Other things to note No smoking, please: This is a smoke-free home, and we kindly ask even outdoor-only smokers to skip booking. We like to keep the air fresh and peaceful for everyone 😊 Registered guests only: Only those listed in the booking are allowed in the house — thanks for understanding! Noise & peace: The room is on the ground floor with lovely river views. It's quiet with triple glazing, however occasionally you might hear some light street sounds. We recommend not to open the windows. We keep things quiet after 10pm on weekdays and 11pm on weekends, and we ask that you do the same, especially when coming home late. Cleanliness & care: You’ll have your own private room, shower, and small toilet. We’ve always had lovely feedback on how clean the space is, and we continue to follow COVID-safe practices. If you feel unwell before traveling, just let us know. Third guest and infants: We have a sofa bed in the room that we convert into a bed for groups of 3 and we can add a travel cot in case an infant is staying as well. Just let us know. These will be added to the room. There is no possibility of an additional room or to sleep in our living room. Little quirks: Our door knobs are slightly stiff — if you have any grip or mobility issues, it might be something to consider. This is a historic property and makes best use of the space available. Note that the toilet is quite small. If you need a large bathroom, this may not be the property for you. We’re fully licensed!
