An amazing creatively restored 80 sq m open room in a medieval barn, above the owners inspirational sculpture / textile sudios. Solid oak floors, original timbers with a private shower room downstairs. Set in a floral garden with over 200 plant varieties, described as "a bubble of paradise" in a tiny hamlet just 10 minutes from Terrasson/A89. For extra a real Scottish homemade"girdle pancake" breakfast, under the marquee, served on ceramics made on the premises. A unique artistic experience. The space Looking for a unique space for a short break, packed with the creativity of the owners art both inside and outside. Genuine 14th century medieval barn with timber features, glazed gable end looking over a stunning view. Many atypical features: a 700 year old loom upcycled into an oak bed with textile headboard created by Rosie. A little balcony with the Dordogne valley landscape in the distance. There is the possibility of tailored ceramic or textiles courses in the studios below your accommodation off season. The room is one large 80sq m space with a kitchenette, double bed, 2 single beds behind a real bamboo wall and a cot, so good for a couple or families up to 5. Private shower room downstairs. In the tiny house in the garden there is a gallery and wellbeing area for halotherapy to boost general health and lung function, 45 minute sessions available by request. Garden area to relax surrounded by amazing plants. Tranquil hamlet with no through road. Great for a b&b stop over when on a long drive, just 10 mins from the main A89 motorway/20 mins to Lascaux. Great area for mountain bikes and walks through the woodland. Close to the Vezere for canoes, paragliding and forest zip riding. Bmx track and hot air balloons nearby. Several lakes for swimming, the exciting teleski and close to many Chateaux and Lascaux caves. Guest access Private use of the barn: whole of upstairs and a downstairs shower room. Pretty garden and stone zone with marquee in summer, other gravelled seating area with the magic beanbags to admire the view. Salt therapy also now availble, it's in the tiny house in the garden alongside the owners art gallery. Other things to note Arrival time 3pm, departure time 11am. Can be changed if pre-arranged.
