Stone cottage with natural pool
Description
Stone house perched among pine trees, chestnut trees, in a restored 15th century farm 3 km from the village (small winding mountain road) and at the gates of the Parc Naturel des Monts d'Ardèche. For lovers of nature, calm, hiking, swimming in the river or in the natural pool of the property... The space The cottage has a 20 m2 kitchen-dining room with two doors, one overlooking the small living room (which opens onto a small inner courtyard), the other overlooking a magnificent panorama of the Ardèche mountains and allowing you to eat with your feet in the grass (wooden garden furniture), a 20 m2 bedroom (a double bed and a single bed) upstairs in a semi-mezzanine, a bedroom in a 13 m2 vaulted cellar (a double bed), a bathroom with a walk-in shower. The gîte, with a capacity of 5 people, is a wing of the restored farm and has a separate entrance. It is adjoining the owners' home but it is oriented to the setting sun and so there is no opposite. And in the evening, with your feet in the grass, you will contemplate the magnificent sunsets over the Monts d'Ardèche Nature Park and think about the many activities of the next day: swimming in the natural pool of the property, aperitif on the wooden terrace of the pool, hiking, horseback riding or cycling from the cottage, or on the Dolce Via (a very beautiful path that follows the old railway and goes up the Eyrieux valley from La Voulte to Cheylard, with a gentle slope, and a succession of viaducts), fishing in the Eyrieux and its tributaries, swimming in the river, canoeing, mountain biking, climbing, tennis, petanque on site, horse riding, exhibitions, Chestnut Museum of Saint Pierreville, living museum of Wool and Sheep (Ardelaine), Conservatory of Terraces and dry stone walls, acrobatic course in the forest (Indian Forest in Coux) or on the Eyrieux (Aquarock in St Michel de Chabrillanoux), archaeological sites or simply relaxing (silence guaranteed!). A little further, you are already on the highlands of the Ardèche and you can hike on the slopes of Mont Mézenc or Gerbier de Jonc and ancient volcanoes, or taste the maoche, caillettes and the fine fat of the Mézenc washed down with a good Côte d'Ardèche! Guest access Natural pool. Other things to note Hand towels and bath towels are not provided... please bring your own. If necessary, we can rent you towels for €10 per week per person. Bedding is provided. Pets: We accept your pet on request only and with some precautions: it will have to be kept on a leash around the house and the pool because we have 4 adorable cats and small frogs (in the lagoons of the pool) who love their tranquility. On the other hand, you will have to pick up its droppings. But it will have 17 ha of forests where it can run around... The participation is 10 euros payable upon your arrival in cash. Thank you for your understanding.
