Art-deco cottage on the Esplanade

This art-deco cottage overlooking the sea provides premium accommodation for up to four guests. The fully self-contained facilities include master bedroom, second bedroom, bathroom, lounge, dining room and kitchen. The house was built in 1937 and is furnished in keeping with this period. A 50 metre walk across the sand-hills enables guests to participate in beach life, as well as observing it from the comfort of the lounge, dining-room and while lying in bed in the master bedroom. The space The home enjoys 180 degree unobstructed sea views from the Semaphore jetty, out to the shipping channel and around to North Haven and the Outer Harbour passenger terminal. Beautiful sunsets, racing yachts, cargo & cruise ships, recreational fishing boats, windsurfers, parasailing, cyclists, swimmers and dolphins provide constant visual entertainment for guests. Internally the house has nostalgic charm without being fussy or cluttered. Guest access Our Accomodation provides the convenience of self - checking via a simple to use keypad. In addition to the self-contained suite of rooms, guests have an allocated off-street carpark, wifi, gas-fire heating, fans and a reverse-cycle air-conditioner in the master bedroom and dining room. Other things to note The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery, crockery, glassware, pots, pans and utensiles. There is an outdoor setting for guests to use on the front lawn looking out to sea. The second bedroom has a two king-single beds which can be configured as a very comfortable king-sized double on request. This cottage doesn't have a laundry but there is a large tub & airing rack to facilitate hand washing and drying of clothes, and there are two laundromats in the neighbourhood.
