Ratty's Retreat is an eco-friendly, modern & bright studio apartment, designed to take full advantage of the wonderful vantage point with stunning views across Widemouth Bay. The detached building is constructed from traditional oak. The light & airy space is ideal to relax & chill out, away from the hustle & bustle. Tucked away, but easily accessed from the A39, a short drive down a well maintained road with plenty of off-road parking. The space Here, you can awake at dawn to a fabulous coastal view with the luscious hinterland sweeping to meet you in the other direction. You enter via a set of double patio doors into the downstairs open plan living, kitchen & bedroom space. The kitchen is fully fitted units with solid oak worktops, fridge freezer, electric oven, hob & extractor, microwave & combined washer/dryer. Dining space is provided via the kitchen island unit. There is a downstairs shower room with WC & basin. The second bedroom is accessed from the stairs & this room offers a little haven with the entire front apex of the building capturing the incredible sea view. There is a choice of 2 x single beds or a large superking bed & a sofa bed. There is a another TV & plenty of storage space. There is a second bathroom with shower over the bath, WC & basin. Outside offers a rear patio space with table & chairs. There are outside storage facilities of both a small shed & a plastic garden store. Ideal for bikes, or any sports/surfing equipment. Additional information: Electricity is supplemented from our ground mounted solar PV panel array. Travel cot, highchair & stairgate provided. WiFi, & one dog welcome. This place is perfectly located just a short drive away from Widemouth Bay beach which is a stunning seaside destination, popular for surfing, swimming and beach cafes, farm shops & restaurants on the sea front. The South West Coast path can be joined at Widemouth Bay, where you can explore and enjoy the unique North Cornwall coastline. From the property you can quickly link into the Atlantic Highway to explore and enjoy the many coves and villages along the North Cornwall coast. Bude, a strong seaside hub town is just six miles away, where you will find main shops, large beaches, the Bude Sea Pool and lots of things to do and great places to eat and drink. Guest access Property is detached with off-street parking right outside. Please note that parking area is shared with the other let, there is plenty of space. Additional parking is available opposite. Other things to note Please note infants travel cot available, mattress & bedding for this is not supplied. This is based on hospitality safety advice.
