Shepherd Hut in Devon, close to Dartmoor

Get away from the crowds. Exclusive glamping on the edge of Dartmoor. Ezenridge Farm is home to the Miles family, a flock of rare breed Dartmoor grey faced sheep, 3 horses, 2 cats and 2 dogs. Come and stay in our hand crafted, oak shepherd hut overlooking the Tamar valley area of outstanding natural beauty, with private walk through SSI woodland and river frontage. Set on its own, on our 65 acre farm, with a fire pit to cook, toast marshmellows, or sit around. We look forward to welcoming you. The space The hut sleeps two adults and can be adapted to take an additional camp bed or travel cot. A tent can be pitched next to the hut if you require extra accommodation at a cost of £15.00 per night. The hut has a king size bed, (bedding provided), wood burning stove, with a complementary basket of logs, firelighters and kindling together with lighter and the heatproof glove also provided. Extra logs can be purchased as needed. The kitchen area has a microwave, small fridge, toaster, and kettle along with mugs, glasses, crockery, and cutlery. There is an additional outside covered kitchen area with gas cooker , grill and hob. Tea, coffee and sugar are provided along with a welcome pack of a milk, bread, butter and jam. There is a composting toilet (essentials provided) and solar shower hut (shampoo also provided) next to the hut for your sole use. A washing machine, tumble dryer are available by arrangement. Books and games also provided and the hut has electricity so electronics can be charged. Other things to note Dogs: This is a working smallholding, so well behaved dogs are allowed at a charge of £5 per night. Please keep on leads if they are inclined to chase sheep or cats.
