Whiteface View Retreat STR # -200022

STR Permit: 200022 We have a cozy, Adirondack style, 2 bedroom apartment featuring two decks with an excellent view of Whiteface and the LP Horse show. Our rental is located across the street from the Lake Placid Horse Show Grounds above our small family business. It is our goal to offer a clean, affordable and comfortable space for visitors. We do allow well behaved dogs, however dogs who tend to startle easily and bark often are discouraged. The space This is a recently remodeled, "Adirondack Style" amenities apartment above our small medical office, featuring 2 decks, excellent views of Whiteface and a short drive from downtown. Guest access The entrance to our rental is behind the building and up the stairs. One (1) parking space is available during weekdays (unlimited on weekends). Small, partially fenced yard next to the building and the large backyard behind shop is accessible to guests. There is excellent dog walking across the street and at John Brow's Farm and Henry's Wood's just up the road. Other things to note This is an apartment above our small medical office, "Mountain Orthotic & Prosthetic Services" the rental has a separate entrance to our business accessed from the parking lot behind the building. During weekday office hours (M-F 9-5), guests are limited to one (1) parking space and asked to keep noise at a respectable level. Guests should note that there will be regular office activity on the first floor of the building during regular office hours (M-F, 9-5). A note on pets: We do allow well behaved dogs, however dogs who tend to startle easily and bark often are discouraged. Dog owners are encouraged to book on weekends as opposed to weekdays. Unfortunately, due to allergies, we cannot host cats. Please note, the kitchen is small, sink, small dishwasher, two burner convection stove top, microwave, fridge & freezer. You can certainly cook simple meals, but don't plan on anything elaborate.
