The space Alhibe Farm sits as a barren hillside for years that was used to be an agricultural land for farming local crops before the new owners took the liberty to tap its potential and preserve the natural beauty. This one hectare private property is slowly developed as a natural farm & as a boutique mountain getaway for guests with families & friends who wants to take respite from city life and immerse oneself back to nature. Alhibe has fruit trees & local indigenous trees for guests to appreciate & enjoy. A natural spring water pool has been developed by phases in different parts of the property. The spring-fed pool will be continuously refilled with fresh water naturally and overflows to man-made creeks to water the surrounding farm flowing to supply the future fishing ponds to maximize the use of flowing spring water. The excess water will be collected on an open ground at the lowest portion of the property allowing the water to sip back to the natural water tables & aquifers. Guest access Farm is located in Barangay Sac-on, Carmen Cebu, 42km from central Cebu City about 2 hours travel (average traffic). 10km from Carmen town / National Highway, 30minute drive of uphill & downhills, will pass by a shallow spillway & a single-lane rough road experience before arriving. COMMUTE: From airport, ride a bus to SM City Cebu. Ride a bus from SM Cebu's bus terminal and get off at Carmen Public Market then ride a habal2x going up to brgy. Sac-on. PRIVATE VEHICLE: Any vehicles as long capable to go uphill long roads are recommended. Low sports vehicles are discouraged. When it rains or if the road is wet a 4WD is recommended as there are steep & rough portions that is a bit challenging. VAN RENTAL For hassle free stay, guests have the option to be picked up at the city or airport and transported to the farm at certain charges. Other stops & visits during the stay can also be arranged. The property owners is an Architect & an Interior Designer by profession with a passion in farming and sustainable living. The Farm has 4 open parking slots outside the premises, street parking is also possible up to 2 vehicles. Other things to note ACCOMMODATION BALAY ANINIPOT (BAMBOO VILLA) = fits 6 pax (1 king bed, 2 single beds, 2 bunk beds) ADDITIONAL RATE Additional Guests from the Basic Package of 6 (will be in TENT ACCOMMODATIONS) * Php 1,500/ head for over 10 years old * Php 1,350/head for 4 to 10 Years Old * 3 Years old & below (which won't require an extra bed & meal inclusions, is Free of Charge) * Total maximum number of Guests is 25 pax THE FARM EXPERIENCE: - Private & exclusive use of the place - Parking area outside the gate up to 4 slots only. The rest will be street parking - Fresh coco water welcome refreshments upon your arrival or at your preferred time - CHILL & BONDING TIME: chill in your private bamboo villa - VILLA POOL: enjoy in your own villa dipping pool - BONFIRE: Enjoy the heat from the Bonfire pit with 1-set of firewood, in your private villa space - PRIVATE toilet and bath - NON-AIRCON STAY -------------------------------------------------------------- COMMON AREA AMENITIES : - MOVIE NIGHT: enjoy movies at the kupkop - EARTH KITCHEN: use of common kitchen to cook or prep additional meals - LINAW UNO & DOS: cool down in the spring-fed pools of linaw uno and linaw dos - PATAG: Stargaze, play outdoors or just simply walking barefoot for grounding - FARM PETS: Rabbits and turtles and chicken feeding - BAKTASANAN: a forest trail for nature walks - FARM EXPLORATION: Self-guided exploration, just follow the signs along the trails MEAL INCLUSIONS - Dinner: Between 5pm to 7pm at either Agwas Cafe or Kupkop - Breakfast: 8am at either Agwas Cafe or Kupkop - 1 plated meal for dinner, 1 plated meal for breakfast (drinks excluded) - can choose from the menu under "breakfast", "seafoods", "plantbase meals", "pasta", "pancakes/breads", "meats" FARM STAY NOTES GARBAGE FEE: A garbage fee of 1,000.00 will be collected upon your arrival. This is refundable if you will bring your non biodegradable waste with you upon check-out. Only biodegradable ('Malata') waste is allowed within the farm premises. We will greatly appreciate it if you bring your trash with you upon check-out. NON-AIRCON STAY: Given the location's elevation of 550 meters above sea level and the average nighttime temperature of 20 degrees Celsius, plus mostly being cooled by tree canopies during daytime, we wanted to take advantage and grab what mother nature has to offer in this natural environment, allowing her natural breeze on one's skin. The tents and villa are equipped with screens which help keep bugs out. We promote a non-air-conditioned stay to reduce our carbon footprint one night at a time. WHAT TO BRING & WEAR: - Comfortable clothes and non slip footwear, hat and sunglasses - Jacket / sweater, since it's cold at night - Flashlight, since we keep our night lights at a minimal in order to retain and be mindful of firefly presence in the area - Insect repellants - water tumbler - Should you wish to bring laptops /tablets, although not needed, but have in mind we only have limited power outlets in the tent. There is WIFI in the area but sometimes unstable. Network signal for regular calls and texts is intermittent. CANCELATION/REBOOKING POLICY: *Full refund for cancelations or rebooking made within 48 hours of confirmed booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. *50% refund for cancelations or rebooking made at least 7 days before check-in. *No refund for cancelations or rebooking made within 7 days of check-in.
