Welcome to la Chiesina, your peaceful retreat on the hills of Liguria. This charming semi-detached house shares a leafy courtyard with a lovely alfresco dining area. Once a tiny 19th-century church (now deconsecrated), it sits in the heart of a small hilltop village, 400 meters above sea level. Campiglia is a favourite among hikers and lovers of silence, known for its scenic trails and for being close to many interesting places - Cinque Terre, Portovenere, Poets' Gulf, Lerici, Tellaro and so on. The space Unique in every way, this tiny church—La Chiesina—has been lovingly restored with creative touches that make it both cozy and comfortable in its simplicity. On the ground floor, you’ll find a spacious living area with a small kitchen corner and a bathroom with a shower. The sleeping area is on a mezzanine with shatterproof glass flooring and can accommodate up to 4 people (1 double bed and 2 singles). Because of the stairs, we don’t recommend it for families with very young children. The Chiesina opens onto a private courtyard equipped with a table and chairs, beautifully lit in the evenings. The courtyard is shared with one other small holiday apartment. We provide bed linen, blankets, and towels. The kitchenette is fully equipped with everything you need. Unlimited WI-FI free of charge. Guest access The whole house is at your disposal. Other things to note Campiglia sits 400 metres above sea level, and most of the village is pedestrian-only. There’s a free car park at the entrance of the village, about 400 metres from the Little Church. The walk winds through cobbled alleyways and small staircases, so backpacks and soft bags are definitely more practical than suitcases, especially those with wheels.
