Just steps away from a beautiful family friendly sound beach access and Jockey's Ridge, the sound views and sunsets are unbeatable. AND, the ocean is a 2 minute drive! Inside, we offer 3BD/2BA, as well as a cozy living area & kitchen. Outside, enjoy a spacious deck, outside eating, a firepit, & Italian lighting. Garage is stocked with beach essentials! The space The sunsets are unbeatable. Take a 1 minute walk each night to see the sun set over the sound, or simply lounge in our backyard oasis and watch the sky change colors after a long day of fun on the Outer Banks. The ocean is a 2 minute drive across the main street. We've stocked the garage with beach essentials for you to use and bikes to ride. Jockey's Ridge is right outside your door. Climb to the top for amazing ocean and sound views, hang glide, or fly a kite! Our house is very centrally located, so other sights to see like The Wright Brothers Memorial and Bodie Island Lighthouse are only 15 minutes away. You can also easily take a day trip up to Duck/Corolla or south down to Hatteras or Ocracoke. Your vacation options are only limited by your adventurous spirit :) Just want to relax? Grab a book off our shelves and relax in the backyard or by the sound. Inside, you will find brand new memory foam mattresses, bedding, blankets, and towels...everything you need to be comfy and cozy. The 3 bedrooms host a 1 king, 1 queen, and 2 twin beds (twin bed with trundle underneath) to sleep 6. The king and queen are 12” memory foam and the twin mattresses are 6” and 5” memory foam. The 2 full bathrooms come equipped each with a shower & tub, shampoo/conditioner/soap. Enjoy the outdoor shower for a true Outer Banks experience! The Smart TV in the living room with Wifi is ready for you to watch Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc. through your own accounts. The full sized kitchen is equipped with a fridge, stove, sink, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, eat in table & chairs, dishes, pots & pans, and storage. Our house is perfect for families, couples, friends, and kite boarding/water sport enthusiasts. Our sound access is prime realty for families and kite boarders, so get out there! Guest access In addition to all of the house features, you will have full access to the garage and everything in it: -outdoor shower -gas grill -washer/dryer -bikes -beach chairs, towels, toys, etc. Other things to note History buffs take notice: We have lovingly nicknamed our 1949 house the "Jigsaw Survivor" because of its unique history, but as you can see, it has all the modern day bells & whistles. Soundside Road is one of, if not the oldest road in Nags Head and used to be called Jigsaw Road a long time ago. The infamous "Ash Wendesday Storm" of 1962 literally turned the road into a river flowing from the Atlantic Ocean to the Albemarle Sound. Several houses fell in, but our strong cottage survived its temporary stint of a riverfront property ;)
