Enclosed back yard with large deck with outdoor dining. A quiet, safe neighborhood. Conveniently located to all Rivertown Villages and Metro North train line (5 min. drive, 20 min. walk to two train stations). Amenities and comforts of home with hi-speed internet and premium TV. Well-equipped kitchen. 35 minutes by train to New York City. The space Open floor plan on first floor with comfortable living room seating and two dining tables. Outdoor seating and eating on the shaded deck. Cozy 1st floor TV room/office with premium cable and Netflix. The house has 3 bedrooms - 1 King and 2 Queen beds - for maximum of 6 people. Over 6 guests requires arrangements be made in advance of booking. There is an extra charge over 6 guests (including children) at $25 per night per person. A single loft bed is available in the TV Room at an additional nightly charge of $35 (not suitable for children or elderly as it is accessible by moveable ladder). Lots of natural light and cheerful house. Ideal location. NYC is an easy 35 train ride to Grand Central Station, and only a 5 minute drive to the station. Many kid and family friendly things to do nearby. Walking and biking paths, playgrounds, parks, kayaking, a working farm and historic sites and homes. Many Hudson River view restaurants in all of the Rivertown Villages. Local boutique shopping of all kinds. Live music and theater in nearby Tarrytown. Please no smoking in the house. If you smoke outside, please do not dispose of cigarettes in the inside garbage can. We prefer shoes off in the house if at all possible. And we ask that you eat meals at the dining tables. Guest access The house is available for guests' exclusive use, but it is our primary home when guests are not renting. If guests other than those renting will be coming to the house, please let us know in advance. Front door access is via a keypad lock. The code will be sent via message prior to guest's visit. Back doors are key locks. Semi-circular driveway for easy off street parking. If we are traveling one of our cars may be parked in the the driveway during your stay. It is our home but we make room in closets and dressers for guests use. The front hall closet is available to guests as well. Other things to note Please note that the single bed is in a loft accessed with a ladder from the 1st floor TV sitting room/office. Use of the loft bed must be discussed in advance as a 4th bed for an additional nightly charge of $35. It is not child or elderly safe. During the summer, please be aware that the house does not have central air conditioning. There are 2 window units on the 1st floor, and each of the 3 bedrooms have window units. There are 2 ceiling fans, and each bedroom has an additional fan. All of the above work very well in cooling the house. Special note will be left at the house for guests. During the winter, the house is heated with radiators with 2 NEST programmable thermostats. We ask that you lower the temperature at night. And when you leave turn down to 50 degrees. It's a very safe neighborhood and we feel comfortable leaving windows open and unlocked.
