A loft bed in the TV room can accommodate a 7th guest by prior arrangement and an additional nightly fee. And we ask that you eat meals at the dining tables. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the house during their stay. As this is our primary residence when not hosting, we appreciate guests treating the home with care. If anyone other than the registered guests will be visiting during your stay, please let us know. Ample closet and dresser space is available for guest use, including the front hall closet. Self check-in is available via a keypad lock on the front door. Your access code will be provided before arrival. A circular driveway offers convenient off-street parking with additional street parking available. (Occasionally, one of our vehicles may remain parked while we are traveling.) Other things to note LOFT BED A single loft bed is accessible by a ladder from the first-floor TV room/office. The 4th bed is not included in the standard booking for up to 6 guests. Accommodation for a 7th guest requires prior approval with an additional nightly charge of $35. Due to the ladder access, it is not suitable for young children or guests with mobility limitations. SUMMER COOLING Please note that the house does not have central air conditioning. There are two window air-conditioning units on the first floor and window units in each bedroom. Portable fans are available. These systems provide effective cooling throughout the house. Operating instructions are provided at the property. WINTER HEATING During the winter months, the house is heated by radiators controlled by two NEST programmable thermostats. We kindly ask guests to lower the temperature at night and se the thermostats to 50 degrees when leaving the property for extended periods. The property is in a quiet, safe residential neighborhood called Rivertown Manor. Many guests enjoy opening the windows to take advantage of fresh air and breezes.
