Omaha is perfect for bike-riding, walking, tennis, golf, fishing and of course, the beach which is just a 6 minute walk away. Along with the excellent white sand surf beach (patrolled in summer) there’s the sheltered estuary and all weather and all tide boatramp for all those water sports - fishing, boating, kayaking, or windsurfing. And close by are the superb environs of the Matakana shops, markets and cinemas, local wineries, Leigh, Goat Island, Tawharanui Regional Park, and much more.
