Due to the health context, parties and events are not allowed. Character townhouse dating from 1820, renovated in 2019, in a small village of Revermont in Ain (Jura Sud). This charming house, steeped in history, hosted a hospice, then was rented to residents affected by the village fire on July 18, 1944 (Grand Brûle), and from 1957 was transformed into a summer camp. The space 330 m² house, refurbished, can accommodate 15 people. On the ground floor, a large entrance leads to a beautiful dining room, equipped with an open professional kitchen and an adjoining laundry room. This entrance also serves a bedroom suitable for people with reduced mobility with 1 king size bed, a bathroom and toilet to disabled standards, and a separate toilet with sink. Upstairs, you will find 2 bathrooms, 3 toilets with sink, 2 bedrooms each with 2 single beds, a bedroom with 3 single beds and a bedroom with 6 single beds. A sofa bed is also available. There is a large private car park. Possibility of having access to a closed garage for motorcycles and bicycles on request. A large terrace located to the west ensures sun and tranquility. In the garden, you will find a 6-seater hot tub, trampoline, swing and pétanque court (balls are provided). Indoor and outdoor games are available in the accommodation. Guest access The entire property is usable except 3 small rooms reserved for maintenance. Other things to note We are on the edge of the Jura, with its prestigious sites, wine and walks. The Jura Wine Route starts in Lons-le-Saunier, about 45 km from Verjon. Pressiat, a village adjacent to Verjon, is a nationally known site for paragliders. Treffort, which is 14 km from Verjon, is known for its medieval village, exposed stone houses and its Historic Climb of vintage cars on the 1st Sunday of July. Revermont is full of hiking and biking trails. In addition to the Bresse chicken, renowned for its blue legs, capons, artisanal dairies where Comté is made, its medieval villages in the surroundings make this department an exceptional place where you can eat good food.
