The space Lower in the Himalayas, And close to Ranikhet, Our place is a drive away, And one you won't forget. Through pine forests you'll drive, Up to an oak thicket, You'll see an Ashram above And we're at the other wicket. There's parking for all, Cars big or small. There's a shed to rest, And a room to be your nest. The rooms are large, With local craftsmen doing the floors, We are all there for you, So no need to do any daily chores. The bed is comfy, The mattresses fluffy, There are extra beds too, For the extra person in the group. The bathrooms are big, With hot water to dig. And local amenities, To suit one's oddities. But the best part's the village To walk and to visit, Surrounded by foliage, It's a site to go and sit. To everyone say Hi, For everyone's a friend, It's not the city, You don't have to make ammends. Other things to note The tent is only part of the entire experience. Here, you'll be treated to delicious Kumaon inspired meals made with local ingredients. Lunches and dinners are priced at Rs. 550+GST per person per meal. You can also go on the various complimentary guided hikes to forests, sunsets and villages or go on a picnic lunch with your partner or family. Picnic lunches cost Rs. 1,000+GST per person. Use this as a base to visit the various historical sites nearby. Ranikhet and Almora are both 1hr drive from here. Kasar Devi and its cafes are at 1.5hrs drive while Jageshwar is at a 2hr drive from here.
