Eco-friendly house with pool and ponds
Description
Our eco-friendly thatched house is very comfortable, bright and functional, making it very pleasant to stay in. I make sure to turn our property into a nice and pleasant garden with varied landscaped areas. The environment is very peaceful: meadows and woods cover the hills, and the small road in this valley is rarely used. Since the summer of 2023, we have implemented salt water treatment for the pool: this allows us to keep the water clear. The space We finished our house in December 2016, and since then, every season and every time we welcome friends or family has been a delight. It's always comfortable there, without needing air conditioning! Among the hills, this area is quiet and in a lively countryside, with a community café at the end of the valley, for example. I am an organic market gardener, so the vegetable and ornamental gardens are full, with welcome shady corners. The swimming pool - treated with salt - and its terrace are 20 m from the house. The pond with plants and frogs is next to it, and a duck pond is located further down the plot. Special feature to note: the toilet is a dry toilet (sawdust, with a bucket that needs to be changed roughly once a week for 4 people: you only have to empty it if you stay longer and we are not in the area). Guest access The entire house, including a one-hectare plot with a vegetable garden where you can help yourself to tomatoes and herbs in particular. You can pitch a tent and play on the swings, slide and maxi trampoline. Other things to note We can leave you maps, guides and tourist information about the area: many hikes in the mountains and the Piedmont, animal parks and other sites. Otherwise, we have a very quiet cat at home. It has a cat flap, so the cat can go in and out independently, and a large supply of food and water is provided.
